The Beautiful Life Of Ramjas

The only negative thing I can find in Ramjas is its hostel facility. It contains a very less amount of seats and even after that very dingy facilities. But, talking sbout the positive, I would never stop. It is a place where students can study, enjoy and even learn the basics of politics at a single place in same time. According to me, this is the best pkace to live the college life for a student.

Course was always based on learning and not cramming. We always got a chance to express our views and to ask for our queries. Even in lab, there was a chilled environment with highly supportive teachers. We were never forced to waste our time after ckmpletion of the work in lab.

Our college provides placements but, I would say it provides better opportunities for research aspirants rather than those seeking job in the companies. For not being a B.Tec. or MBA college, it provides less opportunities for this field.

There is a very big list of events in the college. One event is completed, the pepration of another starts. It happens firstly for complete college in the form of orientation followed by fresher's party. Then, the inaugrations of different departments start, which provide a platform for stidebts to know each other. In the fest time, first departments don't stop and then, college fest. Other then these, educational wvents like quizes, debates, youth parliaments, speech competitions etc. are also taking place at the same time.

The fee structure is almost feasible for most of the studentsbut, ot may be expensive for some of the students. For those, college also provides scholarship jn the form of which it gives back the needy students some share of their fee. At starting it was approx 13000 per annum for chemistry but, now it has been changed to approx 16000 per annum for the same.

Yes, the college provides scholarship to weaker section of the society. After the submission of fee, students with low income rate can submit their documents in the acedemic block. If you are selected for the scholarship, you would get some part of your fee back.

Talking about extracurricular activities, Ramjas is the best place to visit. There is large continuity of student parties and sports competiotions all over the year. I would say it damn good. One thing I would like to say that there is no gender bais in any events in Ramjas, girlstake part more frequently. Its a very safe premises for everyone. It also provides a platform for those students who are interested in student politics.

I was unable to get hostel due to lack of hostel seats which led me to go for pg which costed me about 2-3 times of hostel. Now, I have to spend atleast 11k-12k for only my levilihood in this costly city of Delhi.

Yes, I find them very helpful. Any seniors I have ever met have always helped me in oneor the other way whether, it is about the studies or it is about the fun. They are always ready for me. I would proudly say that in the form of seniors, I have got big brothers. They have made made me to explore the best part of my life, my college life.

I wanted to pursue either chemistry or mathematics from Ramjas or Hindu college. After getting admission in chemistry in Ramjas, I did not change either the course or the college and today I find this as one of the best decisions of my life. Admission process was somewhat tiresome becuse it took so much time which included again and again rechecking of documents. We came in the morning and got our fee reciepts in the late evening.

All of the teachers I have met in Ramjas College are well qualified and interested in welfare of the students. Talking about the faculty of Chemistry Department, I would proudly say it the best faculty of Delhi University. These teachers have always helped me to make myself better.
