A really good educational institution with various other opportunities for the students that help them discover their true potential and aids them in their field of interests. An overall educational experience that the students will end up liking.
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses offered are flexible and allow the students to choose a lot of the aspects of their curriculum, like the staff they need or the course they want to study. The exams and labs are not very frequent and they offer a lenient schedule for the students to follow.
Placement Experience
Both core and non-core companies visit the college for in campus placement with Excellent salary packages. The college does not provide internships. The college allows students to go to internships in other organisations with attendance provided for the days they are in the internships.
College Events
Multiple inter and intra college quizzes conducted annually by the quiz club. Individual symposiums conducted by each department annually. Multiple cultural events organized by the Fine Arts Club and the English Literary Society annually.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible for students who get into the institution in merit. The fee structure for the students who get in paying capitation fees is a bit more than normal. Various scholarships are available for the students to exploit.
Fees and Financial Aid
Students who got in in merit and have a good CGPA are able to avail multiple scholarships offered by several organisations annually. The Institution of Engineers and other similar professional societies also offer scholarships for economically backward students.
Campus Life
Almost all extracurricular activities and sports have equal number of men and women. No gender discrimination is known to happen thouroughout the college, although some members of the staff.
Alumni/Alumna
The college has an excellent alumni network and they are extremely helpful in coordinating with the students of the college to help them with any hassles. They have in decision making about their higher studies or otherwise.
Admission
Chose to pay a certain amount of capitation fee that facilitated my entry into the college as I did not have enough marks to get in thourough counseling or merit. The mechanical engineering course offered has the most number of staff and the best curriculum.
Faculty
The faculty are very strong in their respective fields of work and are also very helpful for the students in any other areas that they may need guidance in. The support provided by the staff is very good in training the students for whatever they need.
