Remarks
Best in south Mumbai, like the kind of exposure you get in very diffrent. Crowd is also very good and connections you make are very diffrent. It's very useful for outstation students. Demerits are none but timing issues are common like scheduling lectures and all is a problem because visiting faculties find it difficult sometimes to make it to college. But apart from that everything is fine.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course if wide with 7 subject in each sem. Exam structure is 60-40 for which getting 40 marks is difficult than the 60. And 60 marks are divided into 12 marks of 5 questions. We get two hours to complete.
Placement Experience
They are pretty good, like Ernst and Young, deloitte etc. Depends on your ability. There's is placement cell in the college which looks after all the placements. We have to do a mandatory internship so everyone gets one or other.
College Events
There are around 10 diffrent events happening which is really amazing with Talaash being the biggest of them. There's shout which is organised by social and dramatic union and every department has its own fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is very cheap. Its like 15000 for first year, 17000 for second year and 20000 for third year. I guess they get a grant from government or something but it's very cheap and what they offer is very expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
There's this sumitomo scholarship which is available for all but I'm not sure how much do they offer. And there are many other scholarships but the fees is so less that very few actually opt for a scholarship.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities like Talaash a Jai Hind BMS Initiative ( college annual fest) and Jai Hind Entrepreneurship and skill hub. So ECSH is basically a very formal business summit organized by students. 3 day event.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, it's really cheap and facilities are amazing. It's called Mahaveer Jaina Vidyalaya which is 105 year old hostel. It has two branches in Mumbai and it's limited only for Jain students. We have to prove that we're Jaina.
Alumni/Alumna
Really helpful. They're from IIM, work in Google, founder and ceos of big startups. In Our bachelor of management studies we have alumni coming over every now and then and they speak of their experience which is very useful.
Admission
I got in thourough merit and its Mumbai university procedure which is really tiresome. Too much of form filling and submitting. We have to fill form on MU website and then again respective college. Then submit it to the respective college.
Faculty
Almost of all our faculties are industry experts and teach because of passion. They come for the lecture and leave and are not just limited to textbooks. After being autonomous everything has literally changed.
