My Review- [ICOER], Pune

Curriculum vise college is good there is no point in it but it lacks in extracurricular activities. They should support the students regarding national level competition and should provide some financial support also.

This College comes under the SPPU UNIVERSITY. The curriculum of sppu University is very well planned. It includes a great combination of thoery+practical sessions. Each semester has a specific credit system in which there are different credits for theory exams, practicals as well as for orals or viva's also. Practicals and lab are not up to the mark but yes some staff are very brilliant in the lab which will lead to a hectic day for sure. About the exams, they are moderate to tough. I have to prepare well for it.

The placement Is not that good. Most of the core branch students are placed in the non-core sector and those who are placed in core sector they are working with very low salary. It's hard to believe but no major company came during my final year. So you can get the scenario of the placement. In my batch, most of the students were placed in companies like Hudle, Amazon (non-core). And some are placed in the local industry with an average CTC of 1.5-3L. About internship, if your willing to work as an intern in a good company then some faculty may help you to grab one.

There is so much variety in the fee structure. For open category :- 1, 18, 000. For OBC category:- 56, 664/-. I am not sure about other caste students. And fees also vary year to year. So you can get the idea from above.

Maharashtra state government offers scholarships for Graduate students. Students have to fill the form at Mahadbt.com(Official state government scholarship Website). Aaple Sarkar DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) or Mahadbt is a renowned online scholarship portal of Maharashtra run by the Government of Maharashtra. It hosts around 38 post-matric scholarships offered by different departments under the state government.

The college has its NSS students committee, department wise students associations like MESA, CESA, etc. College Supports different sports and it holds various sports records across different levels. Students also participated in National Level Go-kart competitions.

Frankly speaking, there is no contact with alumni with fresher's. In my opinion, the alumnus is a great source of networks that helps to grab a job or internship in the firm which they are currently working for the present college students. So, colleges should hold some programs which connect present students with alumni.

I was a student of this college. I got admitted to this institute in the direct second year of my bachelor's engineering course because before joining this institute I had completed my diploma. So, I am very specific about the admission procedures in college through Direct 2nd year. For taking admission indirect 2nd year of engineering in all colleges in Maharashtra, students have to complete their diploma first. After the declaration of final year results of diploma admission procedure starts.

All our faculty are mostly master's Or Ph.D. holders. Teaching is average because most of them are time-oriented and all are interested in covering of syllabus mostly. Some Ph.D. holders have a great source of knowledge but they are very few of them and most of them already left the institute. Overall it is an average experience.
