Way too Strict college the only college in mumbai charging 5000 bucks as as a fine and confiscating cell phones if found to be used within college campus but overall its always fun to break all the rules and keep the teachers back for a chase.
Entrance Preview
CET and AIEEE scores of mine helped me fo getting into my graduation college. CET Score was 88, luckily i did my schooling and jr college from Pune university, so i was eligible for OHU quota in Mumbai University colleges, which enabled me my admission in SIES at much lower CET scores from others. Chose BE IT due to its trending market in Indian society and plus it is much more easier to Pass out in IT as compared to EXTC.
Course Curriculum Overview
The staff is really well with academics and course structure 10/10, but the worst part is Every staff member is strict beyond imagination. You have to appear again and again for retests unless you pass any one of them till your final sem- paper.
Internships Opportunities
Overall good companies came in, with all sort of good and average pay packages. All sort of companies including marketing, Electronics, IT and Printing and packaging industrial companies came up for placements. Almost 90-95% people are placed to appropriate companies with an average pay scale of 3.2lpa or more.
Placement Experience
Good opportunities provided by the college in terms of placements and internships i was personally offered 3.5lpa from a digital marketing firm apart from having a consistent record of 55-60% every semester.
College Events
College festival named ' Tatva-Moksh-Lakshya', every one loves it famous all over the city due to the variety of events starting from cultural to hardcore metal concerts.
Campus Life
Over all a perfect balance, though sports activities lag back a bit than others, but the appropriate student forums make up for it.
Hostel Facilities
No hostel is provided for Engineering students, food from the canteen is above average though but just pure veg.
