As a 1st year student i have had a great time in my college so far, its a good experience whether its academcs, faculty, accomodations and even overall i have got a great college to persue my graduate degree. Environment here is absolutely great for studies.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is according to the rules stated by delhi university. And exam structure is same as any other college of Delhi university where in every semester we have to clear internal exams and to clear the semester we have semester end exams.
Placement Experience
Yes, in the final year companies do come to our campus for offering jobs, so as they have promised yes we do get a chance to prove ourselves in front of great corporate firms and lot of students get selected every year.
College Events
We have 1. fresher welcome event every year To welcome all the new students college organise a welcome party every year. 2. Culture fest Our college offers several courses so we have a dynamic ecosystem of students. Which inspired out administration to begin the culture fest ever year. 3. Annual day Another way to celebrate our college's annual day. 4. College sports events Several events happens for sports tournaments.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For b.sc physical science for 1 year is 15000 INR and same for next 2 years of course. Fee structure is according to the rules of Delhi university. With some minor difference every college has different amount for different courses.
Fees and Financial Aid
No such scholarship or loan facility is offered by our college to the students. It may be applied in some expectational cases according to me even delhi university doesn't give any kind of scholar's to students, we have not come across any of such cases yet.
Campus Life
There is huge set of extracurricular activities in our college, say it sports or social we have a lot of them, being a science student we have plenty of science labs in our college and there are labs for maths student too. All the infrastructure is maintained greatly by keeping staff, we get our labs clean everytime.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel structure and fees for hostel is totally up to college. Fee structure for hostel is decided according to the locality and area. Every college has different fees for hostels. And in my college hostel is available for girls only and hostel is around 20000 INR
Alumni/Alumna
I've interacted to a very few of my seniors and it was good experience asking them about there courses and them help me in my academic issues as well but i guess those 2-3 seniors are not enough to so say about all the seniors or alumni.
Admission
I got admission in Maharaja Agrasen College on the basis of the marks i got in my boards exams in 12th class. To initiate admission i went to the college premises and filled the form for my course which is B.sc physical science and after submitting the fees i got the admission there.
Faculty
Maharaja Agrasen College has a great team of teachers in our college, our college is know for their faculty as they are very friendly and supportive. My personal experience with teaching staff is great here.
