College Management was very strict and administrative oriented. Students strived to put forth their demands, problems and lesser attention were being given to their needs. Now a days VC and Administrative staffs are performing up to the mark.
Entrance Preview
OJEE- lateral Entry ; I stood 4th Rank in 1999 and opted to be admitted in Civil Engg. BE Course 3rd Semester directly.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum was at par with other Indian University. Elective paper was Ground Water Engineering in 8th Semester. The shortage of Professors/ Readers was acute with regards to elective subjects are concerned.
Internships Opportunities
I have taken internship in PWD and Water Resource Department Field Divisions during my two months off-semester summer vacation. For Campus Interview, in fact in 2002 no companies came, except IIT Madras offered and selected for one month summer training in their campus.
Placement Experience
Campus Interview out of 240 students in 2002, only 50 students have got placements. But now the scenario changed. Now people were placed in reputed MNCs and Public/ Private sectors having atleast one job to each. The Companies are now - TCS, Infosis, Wipro, GE, MECON, DRDO, CTS, GOOGLE etc. The Packages to the Students are ranging from INR 6 Lakh to INR 30 lakh per annum.
College Events
Tech feast, Film Festival, Robotics, Hostel Annual Days, Cultural functions like Rangoli, Workshops, Conferences many more in a year are being convened.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible and not at all expensive. In my times it was Rs. 10, 000 per year in 1999-2002; now in 2015 it was Rs. 50, 000/-per year. After a gap of 15 years the rate of fee was justifiably increased 5-6 times in all respect.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship for Merit-cum-Means, MHRD Scholarship for MTech/ Ph.D Scholars, Loan facility by Banks are avaialable for BTech and higher studies.
Campus Life
Gender Rations : 40/100, Hostel parties- 4 times a month weekend; One Annual Grand Feast; No Ragging inside Campus, No disciminations of caste, gender and sex. No Political interference to this College and hostel. It is a unitary University now. In our times it is a State Autonomus College.
Hostel Facilities
In my times, hostel and mess food quality was good. Now, I gathered information that it was very good. Need some more effort to make the food outstanding. Accommodation is a greater problem now, which was not in our times. Due to increase in seats in ever

My experience with this College now University was fantastic. I have learned a lot from this VCollege- discipline, subject learning, leadership qualities etc. My seniors are very cordial, helping natures, they always boost our moral, integrity and encourage me to develop personalities. More than 100 senior alumni are highly placed and the college is always proud of them.
Exam Structure
The Exam Schedule in a Semester was back to back ; some times with a gap of 1 to 2 days per subject., The internal exams are two sitting a day. Lab Examinations and Sesionals are very tight.
