Positive remark is that the college gives you or teaches you to live independently and do your work by yourself and negative remark is that the college is not upto the mark in each section I would rate it as 6/10.

The course I opted for is basically all about fundamentals of computer system and programming, web development and other IT related stuf.But in the first year that is for the first 2 semester all branch students have to study some common subjects together in mixed batches.Those subjects are BME, Maths1, Maths2, chemistry, physics, electrical, electronics, technical communication, computer aided engineering drawing, economics, c programming, enivironmetal studies and ecology.Well all this subjects are good but you actually dont need to study them cause most of this doesnt help you in future course (in your core subjects) like for students of CSE (computer science and engineering) we dont need to study chemistry, bme exectra.

Placements I would is okay related to the countries situation but not everyone is placed with a higher package only few get a good nautch companies other don't. Also the contract betwen the company and the students is sometimes a mess.Talking about internship, My college isnt working much on it only a few students get good intership each year from college rest all apply by their own. So intership+placements I would rate them 6 on the scale of 10

We have mant invents each year in our college they are as follows, Annual technical fest known as Sphinx in which lots of tech competitions are held like robo war and all. Then theirs the Annual Cultural fest known as Blitzchalag and then few more like Scholars cup and Youthfest.

The fees structure is quite feasible but not for everyone people from general category faces a bit problem related to scholarship and mostly they have to pay the entire fees while the people from lower category easily get scholarship and also they easily get addmission even with a bad ranking in entrance test due to their seat reservation which is a debatable topic.

The College does provide some student loan and scholarship to the student but mostly are available for the lower category students only for students in general category they don't get loan and scholarship so easily.The scholarship is either state govt based or central based.

The practical approach is the minimal here there are lots of labs for different subjects here but students are mostly pressurised on the theory of the experiment rather then the practical approach.There is only one Sports ground for all type of sports which I feel is not upto the mark.The ground is used for football, Cricket, athletics, running exectra at the same time.We have sports complex also for badminton and courts for tennis and basketball.Almost we have courts and playing arena for all sports but they arent upto the mark also their are no coaches available for any sports which is quite disappointing.

Hostel arent that good and mess food is really not good.Hostel drinking water is also not upto the mark there are so many things that has to be changed in the hostel.The rental which we give is quite too much for the facilities that we get.

Alumni network isnt that grest as it should be most of the Student in college doesn't have any idea about the alumnus and also the fund gained by them have no data about where it has been used till now. Most of the fund from central government is highly miss used amd eaten by the authorities of the college.

The admission in this college is strictly based on the entrance exam rankings.After getting yiur ranking an online process of admission starts where you fill up the choice forms of interested colleges and courses and then depending on your ranking (merit) automatically you get a seat and course as per your ranking only.Well I am doing computer science and engineering in this college and for this course and college you need to get a AIR (all india ranking) under 6500 approx in the general category.

Most of the faculty teaching first year is either guest faculty of are those who are pursuing PHD or M.Tech in the same college. Hence mostly the faculty is under experience and they don't have proper methodology of teaching also curriculum is mostly based on memorizing things rather then the practical approach.
