Remarks
Average college as far as studies are concerned. Fees were on the most expensive side. Very difficult for normal people to cope up with the ever increasing fees. Professors were good but only in their coaching class.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is being decided by mumbai University since all the mumbai University affiliated colleges have to follow their curriculum. The college didn't have any different curriculum of its own.
Placement Experience
The college did have placements but they were not good as in those times. Especially in our batch of 2010 passouts, we hardly had any companies visiting for campus. Also they were forcing people to go to some very bad companies and skipping such individuals for any opportunities in good organization.
College Events
They were big enough where they could some small celebs from TV to attend their festivals. They were trying to match the festivals organized by various competitive colleges. Their fashion event was one of the best.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Expensive, I would say. The time I joined college I had paid 43000 as tution fee, however even before the lectures began we were forced to pay extra 10000 in the name of development fee. The same was increased to 68000 by the time I was in my final year. Currently it's more than a Lakh rupees is what I heard.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college didn't offer any scholarships, also availing any loan facility was a headache since the college was growing by then and was not much renowned. So even the banks hesitated while prividing loans.
Campus Life
Sports was the best, followed by the architecture of the college. If looked like one of the malls and the classrooms had AC in them, however this added to the expensive side and the fees were hiked exponentially for this particular reason.
Hostel Facilities
Staying in the same city we were not having any hostel facility. Though some sort of hostel facilities were provided by college in Nerul, harbour station and it was also on the expensive side taking the hostel fees to more than half a lakh
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors were very helpful as far as we needed any help from them. They provided very fruitful tips and tricks to crack the viva. They provided multiple opinion about the career path we chose and guided us on it.
Admission
I got admission for my course in 2006. I had always thought of being an engineer right from my childhood days. however getting an average score in CET, and because I wanted to study in Mumbai itself being my hometown I came across colleges only from mumbai
Faculty
The faculty was good but only for imparting knowledge in their personal training/coaching centres. They were partial in college and didn't impart knowledge in similar way as they would do in their personal coaching classes.
