Remarks
At my time there were only 2-3 companies which came for campus placement for mechanical engineering students. Whereas a lot of companies came for IT, CSE, ECE, ICE. And most of the big IT giants like infosys, wipro etc. they did bulk placement in alternate years. Like if in 2015 wipro did bulk placement then in next year other company like infosys will do bulk placement.
Course Curriculum Overview
Couse curriculum will enhance your skills and knowledge but don't expect anything if you keen to get practical knowledge. But if you time to time participate in projects etc. That will give you more practical knowledge. Labs are not upto the mark.
Placement Experience
No, college does not provide internship but you can do internship from outside. Placement is good for IT, CSE, ICE & ECE but not up to the mark for Mechanical and automation trade, but you participate in different competitions that will help you in acquiring a good internship.
College Events
Apart from college fest, university fest a student can go to fest in other colleges which are also affiliated from the same university. And there were lots of clubs like rotract, decibel etc which boosts your confidence.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure was feasible for Btech course. As there are more college available in Delhi-NCR which are less reputed and not up to the mark education, still they are charging hefty amount for this course.
Fees and Financial Aid
You can take education loans for your studies there is no such problem you will face but you have to maintain your percentage in order to get the continuous benefit of your loan else your bank will stop giving loan for your studies. You can also avail scholarship for your studies from IP university but for that too you have to maintain a particular score like 80% in your semester examination.
Campus Life
In IT, CSE, ICE, CSE trades there are enough no. of girls so the ratio is good in these trades. but in mechanical trades there was only a single girl among 60 students that too appeared in alternate year. There were no ground for sports but now campus has been shifted to Amity university noida so everything is available like good infrastructure, sports etc.
Hostel Facilities
No i have not opted for hostel and also there is no such facility provided by this college, there were PGs in the locality nearby college. But now this campus has been shifted to Amity university noida which provides hostel facilities and also PGs are available in nearby area
Alumni/Alumna
Most of them or i say nearly all of them are busy in their own life.Lost in their lives, busy in their career, some of them are even regretting for doing b.tech, and some of them are not at their right place. There are only few who are at right place at right time else most of them are diverted from their goals. You will meet atleast one senior in you life who will transform the way you live.
Admission
This college is affiliated to IP university and every year GGSIPU organise a national level entrance exam and after that cut-off or merit decides in which college you will get admission. Every year lakhs of students give this entrance exam to get admission in best engineering college of delhi.
Faculty
Collegs faculty is good there is no such issues we faced. Some are strict & some are gentle overall faculty is available for you everytime. If you go to them to seek their guidance in study or in some other problem they will surely help you
