Review of NIT AP

Our institute is a new one, hence we face a little problem with the labs because they are still under construction. Alongwith that we have issues with dust and construction waste but still it is an institute of national importance and we get a lot new experiences every day, we learn new things, therefore it is worth a try.

Our curriculum aims at providing the basic knowledge of all the branches to all the students before teaching the core subjects. Afterwards it gives us both the theoretical as well as the practical knowledge of our branches pretty well. Industrial visits, seminars, guest lectures and lab sessions give us an all round knowledge. The exam pattern is also satisfactory which aims at checking the knowledge of the student and what all he can retain from whatever is taught in the class. It is intermediate, not a hectic neither a chill one.

Since we are a budding institute, therefore internships in our institute is not provided currently. The average package of our college goes about 6-7 lakhs with the highest ones around 16-17 lakhs. Some of the famous companies include L&T, Brahmos, Vedanta, Berger, Accenture etc.

Our college hosts an annual techno- cultural fest named as Vulcanzy. It is condusted around mid of March and recieves a good participation from the colleges of nearby cities and states. Tedx NIT Andhoura is also conducted where successfull people from different walks of life come and share their stories and give us advices.

Since the college provides appropriate fee concessions and loans are also provided, therefore the fee structure is feasible for all the students. Usually the institute fees is 124000 and the hostel fees is 55000 per year, hence it is affordable, and along with the concessions it beacomes accessible to all.

Our college provides fee consessions on institute fees for the ones who need them. The institute fees for the SC/ST candidates is free. For the candidates who have an yearly income less than 5 lakhs, a consession of two-third of the fees is provided. For income less than 2 lakhs, full fee is refunded. Students can also avail for education loan from several banks

We have a lot of extracurricular clubs like technical, cultural and sports which usually have an equal gender ratio. They admit any student who has interest and talent for the particular club without any discrimination. They are improving as the time progresses. Labs are still under construction so we face some problems there.

The hostel infrastructure is good with all the basic facilities. We are provided with good washourooms and toilets in sufficient amount. There is a facility of cool and clean drinking water. Cupboards and cots are provided along with study tables and chairs in the rooms along with proper lighting. There is a regular cleaning of all the rooms of the hostel. The first years have a four seater room, second and third years have two seater and fourth years have single seater rooms. The hostels of boys and girls are separate with proper security.

We have a hub consisting of the alumni as well as the current batch of all 4 years where we can clear our doubts regarding anything from our seniors as well as the pass outs. The hub is named as the Resource Hub.

Our admission is based in the rankings obtained in the JEE Mains exam. The course is also provided to us based upon our rankings. After getting selected for the courses filled by us, we need to report to the institute along with all the necessary documents to confirm the admission.

All the facilities of our college are highly educated and have done their PhDs and Mtech from renounced IITs and NITs. Along with that, the faculties are fairly interested in teaching students their respected course and clearing their doubts.
