College with freedom(vijaya college)

The college has equal amount of pros and cons.For example few lecturers are excellent but few are not, the canteen food is not so good, the college has parking facility to which they charge. Speaking of advantage there is a lot of freedom in this college.This is a college to those students who wants to do part time work /intership and college simultaneously.

As the college follows the banglore universities guidelines, the university has given a detailed information as to how the academic year should be conducted.As per the university internal Marks is for 30 and remaining 70 is for writing in finals.The 30 Marks is equally diving to 10,10,10. 10 Marks for internal test,10 for attendence, and other 10 for assignment submission.

No internship is provided by our college. Speaking about placements the college does not have a well built placement cell. The college does have few placements opportunities but most of the companies are start ups or they are not reputed companies.

Following are the events celebrated in our college 1.yoga day 2.sports day 3.cultral activity 4.annual function 5.Blood camps 6.National festivals 7.commerce and science fest And many more.The college makes sure that most of the students participate well in the program.Programs are conducted, but not so well.Programs are conducted at an average way.

Yes the fee structure is feasible for high class and higher middle class people.People from middle class and lower class many find the fees expensive.The fee stucture includes all expenses payable by the college to concerned dept such as sports, library, electricity etc.

The college has one scholarship by it's own dept known as vijaya Allumini.The vijaya Allumini provides scholarship(not full fees) to those who are good at academics.Other than the above mentioned the college does allow students to enjoy the scholarship benefits provided by the state and central governments( all category students are eligible to the scholarships provided by allumini).

The gender ration is equal when looked at average rate,no workshops are provided.The college has women cell to inform if any harrassment has taken place, the college is strict regarding to girls issue.Thour college has all the basic facilities and lecturers are always there if any help is needed.Labs are provided at regular intervals for both science and commerce dept.

The senior students are very good to the juniors. The Allumini network is quite good, they even conduct events in which students can learn various soft skills required by the outside world.The allumini has helped a lot in learning soft skills such as communication,email writing etc.

The process is simple.First you need to meet the admission counselor, and he will tell you the fees stucture as per the choosen course.You are required to pay the fees in bank and bring back the challan to the college admission person to confirm that payment is done.

Most of the lecturers is our college have an experience more than 10 years. There are few lecturers who are not good at teaching. I'll give a rating of 6 out of 10 for the lecturers. Many lecturers help us in all way possible but few of them are not so friendly.
