Course Curriculum Overview

All types of courses are available in this college. The college can absorb student of every stream means it has courses available for all the streams like ba for humanities student bcom for commerce students BSc for science students and many other courses. The college has a very rich menu to cater.

Placement Experience

The placement and internship of the college is pretty much excellent. There is the placement society called ignite which looks out the placement process in college. Very big companies like ey, bain & co. Pwc etc. Have visited the college and provide job and internship.

College Events

Each and every festival and cultural program is celebrated in the college in a good manner. This college is famous for its fest. The fest held in this college is very good. Its famous in whole north campus. Every year new singers were called in fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For me the fess is feasible according to the infrastructure. Classes are fully air conditioned. Very well desks and other services. I pursued bcom hons and paid 22000 fee but the same course is available for 9000 in many colleges so if we compare with that then this college is expensive

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not got any scholarship so don't know much but definitely scholarship are available but i don't know much.

Campus Life

The sports facility is very good. Very different types of sports are available. Cricket ground, volley ball, hockey, football is available. The labs and library are pretty much good. Very good computer labs

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of college is very good. Every year alumni party is organized and all the previous alumni are invited. The alumni are also very helpful. Recommend college to take admission.

Admission

I'm very much interested from the very beginning to take admission in this college. This is one of the most reputed college of Delhi university. Very good atmosphere, crowd, teachers, teachings, fest, cultural programs etc. Everything is super in this college. Its situated in north campus and near to Vishvidyalaya and guru Tegh Bahadur Nagar metro station.

Faculty

The faculty is very much excellent. There teaching style is very good. Very much high qualified teacher/lecturer are available in the college. They teach very nicely. Very polite and intelligent teaching staff. No problem. Must recommend college faculty

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Sgtb khalsa , hidden gem of NC DU

The college is purely based on merit list except for the seat reserved for Sikh minority. However the crowd here is very mindful and cohesive. People you start getting along with will greet you wherever they see you and always up to help u with anything u want/need. The staff is equally active and works for students through students.
