A College Bringing Out the Best in Students

The college is a bright prospect for students and will take time to grow. However the decreasing state of Placement can hurt the image of the college and can affect students and parents mindset. The College has facility for the admission for students and giving them a good education for the next 4 years.

The Course Curriculum is common for all students in the first year and it is mostly centred upon Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Next Year starts with our chosen Program and further accounts for the next 6 semesters. The Computer Lab is well kept with fine equipments and Optimal Programs uploaded. Exams had quite an impact on students as the questions mostly asked were offbeat or sometimes out of syllabus to encourage students creativity and research ability.

The Internship program is almost to null in this college. There is no availability of Alumni or Senior help which can help in getting a good internship. Most of the time internship is unpaid. The Placement are also not very well. They have been dishing out ? 3 lakh jobs but to only 60% students.

The cultural fest is tied with Salt Lake's college of the same name. We don't have our own singular cultural fests. The participation in them are huge and people from around the country come there to perform. There is no Technical fest in the college.

It's feasible in accordance to several private Colleges in India. It usually costs 3. 4 lakh for 4 year and also depends if you are taking hostel facilities or not. Also there are very strict rules regarding attendance which can make you cough up fines.

No loan facilities are provided. You have to take loan from your local bank or manage from family. They are flexible with fee payment. You can pay late too. that won't be a problem. I paid my whole fee in 8th semester.

Gender Ratio is mostly 4:1 in classes. The Extra curricular activities in the college is next to null. I don't have any ideas of student parties. Problems regarding Gender, Ethnicity, etc. does not exist in this college and there is no discrimination against genders. Political views are sidelined and are not very important in the college.

The Alumni network is not helpful. Mostly 3- 4 Alumni are in touch with the college and is not very helpful in finding job offers. The college is not also able to connect themselves with their alumni once their college lives get over.

I got Admission thourough WBJEE Entrance Exam with a Rank of 15000. The Admission process was smooth. They released a cutoff list where I posted my scores and they accepted my application. Then I went to the College for further admission procedures.

The Faculty is not very well in teaching manners. They are quite young in their ordeal or often disconnected from the students. They have a well set parameters for admission of teachers and the professors are pioneers in their researched subject.
