Remarks

College is quite good. With great facility in reasonable fee. Negative remarks are like some lab equipment not work. Best college in durgapur after nit durgapur. Placement are best. But one problem is it is situated in village area.

Here in Dr bc Roy engineering college the course ece is better it has good lab with good faculty. My college has very good lab facility. Yess the frequency of exam is like internal we have given 4 exam in per semester.

Placement Experience

Placement of our college are much better for computer science engineering, information and technology, electronics and communication engineering branches are much better. In our college many companies has visited like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, capgemini and much more.

College Events

Our college has many events like tech fest, sport day, cultural fest. Participation in these fest and event are very bigger. Techfest the participation in tech fest like robotrix, robowar, robosoccer, treasure hunt.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure of our college are much better compare to others college in our college per semester fee for engineering is 42000 approax. Examination fees are included. Best college in reasonable fee

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no scholarships facility in our college. If we talk about loan facility we have to do it by itself by taking loans from bank and state government. No such loan facility available and scholarship available in our college.

Campus Life

In our college gender ratio are good in computer science engineering and information technology and electronics and communication engineering department are. Like but other branches has lower gender ratio. Our college is situated in durgapur fuljhore like village area.

Alumni/Alumna

In our college interaction with fresher are very good. Our senior guide us in every way where we have difficultly. Our seniors are very good and helpful. Our alumni are also very good. They help us in every way

I got admission thourough jee mains exam. By councelling process. I got selected in 2nd round of councelling. Then after I opted to this college. Then I got allotted to this college Dr bc Roy engineering college

Faculty of our college are satisfactory. They complete their syllabus on time. Our faculty are helpful for brighter student. Qualification of our faculty are like m.tech, PhD holder. They help the brighter students

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
