Placements and admission at tolani maritime institute

The college is good at it's infrastructure, faculty, sports facility,workshop facility,modular facility, training ship facility and also having a great library but the negative part is that the placement percentage for marine engineering is decrecing even after it is the only college which is providing good placement

As usual btec course it is also having 4 years and 8 semesters and they also provided the best workshop facility that includes gas Welding,arc welding, machine maintaining and they does the modular couses

For bsc nautical science the placements are 100% but in marine engineering it's 65 to 70% because of industrial problem and there are many good companies who prefer tolani first like stena,TK,Mearsk,NYK.

The college is so active in providing opportunities of students in technical and cultural programmes and they also have programmes like trantech,horizon,holi celebration,Diwali celebration and the college also takes students to participate in sports matches

For 4 year btec course the current fees structure is 18.5 lakhs and for bsc nautical science it's 15 lakhs and at the time of admission you should pay an amount of 3.45 lakhs and later as the sem wise fees

The college is providing scholarship for the first 10 top scorers and they also gives the necessary documents for arranging a loan for the education and the college also make us attend many scholarship interviews conducted by marine coperation

The college is having the best sports infrastructure truthfully it was the thing which attracted me the most it is having facilities like 3 basketball courts,4 indoor shuttle court and squash quart,box cricket pitch and open cricket pitch,football ground,table tennis court,athletic track and so on

It's 100% residential course out here and the hostel facility is far better compared to other colleges and the standard for food they give is too good but the problem is that they are having the same food menu all the week

They arrange alumni meet and they also get us opportunity to deal with the pass out students to ask our doubt and quires and they also arranges interaction sections with super senior alumni who are captains and cheifs right now

The course was my dream and I was looking for best college for this field and I get to know about this College. I applied for the college and also given an all India entrance exam named imu cet and then I given the college entrance and interview. For applying one should have 60% above in pcm

Truthfully the college is having a great team of faculty most of them are IIT graduate for theoretical subjects and captians and chief engineers for technical subject and there are good mom teaching members too
