Admission

In April 2014 I appeared in bcece exam conducted by Bihar state government. The exam was conducted in 2 stage pre and mains. Only those who qualified pre were allowed to appear for mains. After qualifying mains a merit list was made ( based on the marks secured in mains exam only ) Then there was option of online choice filling. After this we were called for document verification and then we were asked to report to the respective college.

Faculty

3.5

The faculties are well qualified and are interested for clinical teachings in wards. But When it comes to lecture class only few faculties are interested to teach willingly. Rest just put a powerpoint presentation and finish off their lectures by reading those powerpoint slides.

The frequency of exams is a headache to be honest . There is 1 semester coming up within every 4 to 5 weeks which makes it stressful for us. Moreover the teaching methods are decent. This course is indeed a challenging one!

I opted for mbbs which is obvious as i had qualified neet exam. Mbbs is a degree which gives us a day to day exposure to the common people. It's a degree of service, which includes a day/night work without any complaint, but not now as I'm currently in 2nd year only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a medical college, it always has an environment of focus and consciousness. I have chosen MBBS because I want to be a focused student in my life. I want a disciplined life, which is also a beauty of this course. MBBS develops you as a sincere - sensible and soft personality. In each department of our college, there are 3 to 4 teaching and non-teaching staff and our batch strength is of 170 students and there are totally more than 15 departments in MBBS course, so now you have an idea about the faculty Nad student ratio of our college. Faculty members are excellent in every department of our college be it the Undergraduate department or postgraduate department they are well qualified and renowned and they are great doctors too, they have wonderful art and experience of producing successful doctors. As a medical college, here 1st priority is study and assessment of students so exams are on time and obviously it has a difficult curriculum, which needs lots of hard work and dedication.
