Best civil engineering college in navi mumbai region but low placement in civil engineering. And the college have no open space because of college ia placed in densely populated area so the college itself of 13 floors and another similar building is under construction.

Generally Civil Engineering coarse is divided in 4 years. At first year you have to study subjects from other branches also like computer engineering, electrical engineering etc. though you are a civil engineering student. From second year, the civil department subjects came for study. Most of subjects are numerical type. In which you have to give 2 internal exam, 1 viva exam, and Final semester exam with the submission of assignments thourough out the semester.

Generally placement numbers of civil engineering department are quite bad. Placement is good in computer department and information technology department. In civil department thouroughout the last 2 semester around 7- 8 companies visits for the recruitment. Companies like godrej Infra, Toyo consultancy, kelkar consultancy, Burns and MacDonald consultancy etc. visits the college. From the students around 180, nearly about 12- 13 student get placed every year. Generally criteria of such companies is very competitive like they want above 7 CGPA thouroughout the year and they want no dead and live KT in your resume. Therefore getting placed is quite a tough job

Every year eventa like Traditonal days, Annual gathering which is called by name Milestone, and the technical event called technitude which includes technical events like robo wars, technical quiz etc.

Fee is around 110000 to 115000 rupees per year. If you came from reserved catogary then you have to apply for goverment scholarship or freeship. so you have to pay for OBC/NT category : 60000, for SC/ST catogory : 20000, for TFWS : 20000.

If you came under catogory quota then you have to apply for goverment scholarships and freeships. If your family income is below 3 lacks then you can apply for goverment scholarship and for above that you can apply for freeship scheme. under which your remaining fee will be paid by government.

Generally extracurricular activies like university level paper presentation, university cricket league, student exchange program are done. And every branch have their student association like civil engineering branch have their association named ACES.

Senior students are preety helpful. No ragging is there. They help you in every way you want. You can purchase old books in reasonable rate from them. you can get guidance from them to how to appear for exams.

As for every engineering colleges, I gave the JEE exams which conducted by the board on all india level, After that from the rank which I got from the exam, I applied for the colleges which can I get thourough my rank. And by this way I got selected for this college at Second round of admissions.

Datta meghe college is generally known for his civil engineering faculty which are well experienced and have thoroughly knowledge about their field. they are in this teaching profession from last 18- 19 year. and Generally every senior staff did the Doctorate (Ph. D) and the new staff is qualified with the degree M. tech. College have good staff like Muley sir, Barbude Sir, P. D. Deshmukh sir, Aaditya sir etc.
