It's exceptionally well being an Engineering college. It will continue to do so. This is the hope that I will always keep being an AOTian. I will always hope that it keeps on breaking records of placement every year.

Exam is taken almost after every 2 months along with several class assesments and practical tests. The course structure to be precise is laborious and requires daily update of day to day study. The college is under the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University (MAKAUT) and follows their exam pattern. There are 2 internal tests that are being conducted which comprises of 40% of the total marks and the semester (final) exam holds the weightage of the rest 60%. Also 1 Practical internal is conducted in the college which contributes 40% of the total marks and the final semester practical exam holds rest of the 60%. Also in between Term paper assignments and daily update of Lab work needs to be maintained.

I am pursuing B.Tech in Information Technology and engineering from this college. If you don't get a seat in IIT's and NIT's, then you can take admission in this college. This college will give you a platform to enhance yourself. From the past two years, the placements of this college are excellent. Almost 90% of the students got placed from this college, and many students got placed in more than one company. The average salary package offered in this college is around 4. 2 LPA. In our course, the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA, the average salary package offered is around 4. 2 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 6 LPA or more. Many companies visit our college like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBS Software, etc. Most of the students got an internship in those companies.

The campus is the main source of attraction of this college with a beautiful pond with floating ducks in it. Around two events occur in this college one is Regatta and other is Arcadia. In Regatta, fresher students are welcomed by the second- year students; it is not a big event. The main event is Arcadia which is a two- day event.

A bit expensive but feasible simultaneously. Around 3. 5 lakhs approx. The fees structure is 40, 000 rupees approx per semester and if you are a hostel boarder then separate 12, 000 needs to be paid per semester (which is 2000 rupees per month). Also an Industrial training fee of 10, 000 rupees needs to be paid once in a year.

The college does not offers any loan facility. You have to apply in the bank for loan purpose. But the college has a tie up with Bank Of India. It will be easier to get loan in the respective bank for loan in this college. Also TFW (Tution Fee Waiver) facility is available for the below poverty line students in which the semester fee is relatively much lower.

Event 1- REGATTA- The fresher's event of the college. 3 hours of full enjoyment under the guidance of 2nd year Seniors. Event 2- ARCADIA- The Main cultural event of the college where famous celebrities from Bollywood are invited to perform live. Event 3- CONCORDIA- If you are a hosteller then you can enjoy this event wholeheartedly. This is the farewell program where 4th year Senior are said goodbye from the college. Event 4- VISWAKARMA PUJA- The holy festival is celebrated in the Mechanical Department of the college and arranged by the college.

The hostel is fair if compared with other colleges under MAKAUT. The infrastructure is good with 3 bathourooms in a floor, free WiFi facility, mess facility. The hostel also has various recreation such as Carrom, Table tennis board etc.

The seniors are very helpful and cooperative. If you are a hosteller then the bond between seniors and juniors are much more strong. Sometimes alumni also visits the college and seminars are conducted where the speaker gives educational and motivational speech to the students.

Got admission thourough WBJEE exam. I was always devoted to learn computer and it's application related stuff and this got admitted in this branch. Nowadays, the placement department of our college is doing a great job. Lots of companies visit our college for recruiting freshers, and the number of companies visiting here is increasing. Reputed companies like TCS, Wipro, MS, Amazon, ITC, Mindtree, Tech Mahindra, etc. are playing a major role in placements. In the previous year, almost 90% of the eligible students got placed with the average salary package of 3. 6 LPA.

Faculty members of our college are good, well- qualified and knowledgeable. But I faced a language problem, and students who are from outside of West Bengal face this problem. Even qualified teachers speak Bangla. Some teachers hardly speak English, but after coming here, they also start speaking in Bangla. However, some of them are very good, and they understand our problems. Most of the faculty members are helpful. If you want to learn, they will teach you inside as well as outside the class. This course curriculum is very relevant, but you have to work hard to secure good marks. From this course, 95% or above students get placed every year.
