Review Of CU

All total our college is very good at academics, infrastructure. But it has some major problems like placement or job offers. We don't get much internship offers. We don't get much cultural programs. We don't have any code club in our college so we don't get coding competition either. We only have one technical festival which is STEX. So this is also not satisfying at all. But above all this we have a very good faculty. Our professors are best at their respective fields. So we get to know many things and we get the finest education which is very important for us. Also, if off time we get to enjoy our social lives too. We have canteens and plces to seat and to relax with friends. So the is overall good.

This course is excellent for research purpose. From here we get to know details about our subjects and this enhances our research wills. But one problem is that the exams are very frequent. We have to attend two internal exam and a semester within six months. So we don't get to study deep because of this exam pressure.

Placement opportunity is not very good in our college. But I think our new placement officier is trying his best to improve this situation. Like last week we were visited by TCS and that helps us very much about their placement programs. No, I don't think our college provides us any internship opportunities, and if they do I don't know about that.

Our college organizes tech fests like STEX. Students from many colleges do participate in this programs. Also our department organizes many seminars based on our subjects. And cultural programs like holi, reuinons are also held and they are not that big but loaded with funs.

Our fees structure is quite pocket frindly. We have to pay just around 4000 rupees for every semester. And our examination fees is like 500 rupees, session charge is 3000, library fee is 600, admission fee is 1000, athletic fee is 5, union fee is 5, magazine fee is 5, students' health home fee is 2, students' aid fee is 5. This is the fee structure of our college.

There are mny scholarships for students like 1. Anil Chandra Gupta Memorial Studentship for bengali and philosophy department. 2. Nityananda Saha Memorial Prize for Chemistry(Inorganic). 3. Kanodia Research Scholarship for RPE department. 4.J.N. Ganguly Poverty cum Merit Scholarship for physics chemistry and pure mathematics department. This are some of the scholarships that I know of.

Our college departments organizes STEX which is a technical fest. We also organize teachers day for our faculty. Our faculty organize many seminars related to our subjects and encourage us to take part is these. Laboratory is quite good. Though some of the instruments are bad or not working properly but those are replaced by our lab assistant. Overall the condition if our labs and computers are good.

Our college seniors are very helpful though I only know some of them. They are always available and we get help whenever we ask for. We never faced an misbehavior or insults from them. They have more experience about our stream and they always provide those informations. They do instruct us about our practicals like how to write a practical how to do the work in laboratory. They help us about our assignments. We are very lucky to have such kind hearted seniors.

First I got admission in a college under Calcutta University for graduation degree in physics. After completing my graduation I took admission in the university under the couse B.Sc B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering degee. Admission for this course in based on two process. One is to qualify for the entrance exam and another is based on the graduation marks. I took admission based on my graduation marks. I choose this stream because this stream under this university is very good for research purpose and further study. This is one of the best universities in India also.

Our faculties are very much qualified and very good at their respective fields. Because of them we get to know interesting things and facts about our subject. Also they suggest us about the future or of our subjects like what are the future possibilities and what is good for our career.
