Remarks

Good remarks- Awsome placements, great alumni, some really good professors. Bad remarks- College management is not up to the mark as well as course structure is also very hectic.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course Curriculum is very hectic here. Our Marks are divided generally in these 1. mid term exam (15 or 25 marks) 2. Internals(15 or 25 marks) 3. End Sem exam (40 or 50 marks). 4. practicals(30 marks) not for all subjects. For internals there are tests before and after midsems and also assignments.

Placement Experience

5

Recently Visa Inc. visited our College and I bagged a offer of summer Internship from them. Placements of our college are really good. All the Big Companies like Microsoft, Intuit, Uber, Salesforce, Sprinklr, Samsung and many more visit our college every year (visa came for the first time this year(2020)). Recruitment process is generally simple companies conduct online coding test and shortlist students (generally 10 to 20 students) and then take interviews of these shortlisted students. No the institution do not take any special steps to prepare the students for the placement season. You have to prepare on your own. There are few clubs (here we say them societies) like Asn, Csi which helps you in preparing for placements.

College Events

3.5

Our college celebrate annual fest called Moksha every year in the month of March. Duration of this fest is 3 days. Various activities are performed in the college. Many big celebreties are invited every year fro their live performance. Last year Salim Sulaiman came. Their is another event called Nsitthon for freshers. This is also cool as of I heard I did not participate in it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

First year fee that I paid was 1, 25, 000. College accept the fees thourough various modes like Net banking, debit card, credit card they have their online portal where you can go and pay the fees. In second year fees was 1, 40, 000. In third year fees was 1, 45, 000. In fourth year fees will be 1, 60, 000. No there are not any additional fees/charges that had to be paid in order to secure an admission to your course.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I have not opted for any scholarship or education loan but I have heard that college offer scholarship as well as education loan but I dont know exactly what the process.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life is good. There is a big sports ground in our college also there is a gym with all cardio equipments. Also there is a big cafeteria with capacity of around 200-300. Our sports HOD organises winter sports every year in month of jan-feb in which teams of diiferent classes compete. There is debating club also as well as robotics club. Every year a team of around 5-6 go to annual HMUN event organized by Harvard.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni of our college is working in almost all top companies and which is big plus point for our college as this helps us in getting offer from these top brands. Our tech societies organises various tech talks in which they invite our seniors to share their experiences.

Admission

I had given Jee Main exam and on the basis of its result I got admission here. There is Joint Admission Counselling Committee (JAC, delhi) which is responsible for counselling for colleges like DTU, Nsit (now NSUT), IGDTU. I had applied for that and then we need to fill our choices of branch and college there as well. On the basis of our rank branch and colleges are alloted.

Faculty

3

Faculty of college is not up to mark. Few professors are good they have good knowledge of their subject but rest are guest teachers which are either pusuing their Phd degree or Mtech degree from college. Some professors have done Phd. And they are really good in their subject. Many students do their research work under them and I heard that they are really helpful.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
