Review about my college

College is average, basic amenities are available and infrastructure is good, placements are just ok.

Our college 4 years are divided into 8 semesters which means every year 2 semesters. During a semester we have 3 midsem examinations which are of 15 marks each and then a final End sem Examination. Various companies come in college and campus placement is just fine.

85 students were placed this year. Highest - 7 lakh, lowest- 2 lakh, average- 4. 5 lakh. Accenture, infosys, cap gemini, TCS etc. 80% of students who were eligible got internships in TCS, infosys, Accenture. Average package of total college is 4lakhs. System engineer, senior electrical engineer, test engineer, Network design engineer etc. Are some top roles offered in our course.

So we have 2 major events in our college - first is at departmental level and second is at college level. The college biggest fest is YASH which is celebrated every year and students from every branches and every year take part in this. The other event is technical event which is at departmental level. My department also has a technical event named ELECTRICA. Along with these our college also helds small events such as Spandan l, Shiv Jayanti etc.

My program fee is 1, 47, 000 which makes it expensive. Their is also additional fee of 5000 for college end sem exams and sometimes extra 5000 for personality training program. No the college does not provide transparency in fee- breakdown. The college also takes development fee which is included in the annual fee but their is no development in the college as far as I have seen.

I opted for 50 % scholarship which I got thourough entrance exam only. As my father's income is less than 6lakhs I was eligible to apply for 50% scholarship.

Campus life is good although our campus is just of 15 acres their is enough greenery and friendly atmosphere. Many workshops are also conducted every month. But sadly there are less competitions in college and college does not even motivate students to take part in such activities.

No I haven't opted for college hostel rather I live with my college mates in a 2BHK flat. The college hostel fee is too much and the kind of facilities provided are below average. The quality of food is very bad and Electricity bill is also charged from student itself.

Their is no alumni network at all. They call us very few times for seminar with alumni. The college seniors are just fine. Their is no ragging at all in college. Seniors have a friendly behaviour and interaction with them happens almost happen everyday.

I gave the entrance exam i. e. MHCET and on the basis of the marks obtained in this exam I got this college. Their are two ways to enter in our college, first is thourough entrance exam (cap round) and second is thourough management quota. To take admission you need a lot of documents especially if you come from OBC, SC or ST category.

Some teachers are knowledgeable but some are not although our college doesn't focus so much on practicality of concepts and just focuses on theoretical part of it. The course curriculum isn't relevant and really doesn't make us industrial ready but college put some more efforts on making us industrial ready.
