College has good infrastructure with decent placements. One thing where college lacks is faculty which can be improved.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is btech cse. It is very relevant. Also college tries to provide as much practical knowledge as they can. Also some of the teachers helps you in finding your internship which helps you in finding your jobs too and making you a better practical person.
Placement Experience
Placement is very good. It is the major aspect why students are taking admission in cgc landran. Last year 624 companies visited for B.tech CSE which is a very fair no. Also the highest package offered is 31.77 lacks. While the average package varies b/w 4-5 lacks/annum.
College Events
There are many events going on in the college. Inside the college there are many clubs organising events. Some of them is block club. While some are for whole college. Every type of event is celebrated from technical to cultural. I don't have vast knowledge about this because i wasn't a part of any type of club.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure goes like - 45000/sem (college fee) 50000/sem(hostel fee) College fee is quite feasible while hostel fee is bit expensive as they don't provide services according to 50000. So better you should try to avoid hostel from the very beginning.
Fees and Financial Aid
No i haven't opted for any scholarship or loan but there is an special department for that too. I don't know much about that but it is behind account's office.
Campus Life
Campus life is quite good here. Campus is quite big. You will enjoy your campus life. One major con of the college is 75% attendance which every students hates. But gradually you starts adjusting with the environment. Gender ratio is around 60:40 where major portion is of boys.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, there are many hostels for boys varies from 2seater(1 lack) to 3seater(95000) to 4 seater(90000) so it is your personal choice to choose hostel while, the mess food is very bad. While the wardens are also not very good. They are very rude to students
Alumni/Alumna
Yes senior students are very helpful. They do provide you with notes and all the stuffs which are required in college.
Admission
I got the admission on the basis of my +2 marks. Minimum criteria is 75% in higher secondary education. So when you got there they will tell you the admission process. It is quite simple you can easily get admission if you have more than 75% score in +2.
Faculty
Faculty is average. Some of the faculties just come provide lecture and go. While some of the faculty spends time on student. Specially TPP department spends as much time as they can. They provide you with notes, with major internships offers. But at last it all depends upon you.
