Our college not only have B.Tech course,but also have M.Tech BBA and MBA etc.Our new director, Dr. Piyush Pal Roy is trying daily to take our college to a new height and level. Except the infrastructures of the college there is no place or subject in which I can give less than 8 out 10.But with achieving new heights everyday I think it will overcome this barrier very soon and will became one of the most successful engineering college.

The college is affiliated to the board MAKAUT( i.e, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology).The course is B.Tech and is of 4 years primarily consisting 2 semester per year. Every semester there is an semester examination on the semester syllabus.The syllabus is selected by MAKAUT itself and they have tried every possible way to enlighten us with relevant and research-driven topics.The laboratory works and practical works will make you understand the topics absolutely perfectly.

Looking at the current status of job in the engineering market we all take placements very seriously.Our college has a very good team who helps us get ready for the placements,job interview etc. There are also scope for availing AICTE approved internships.

There are many events which are celebrated in the college campus hugely, like - Freshers, Saraswati puja, Biswakarma puja, Tech fest, Cultural Fest, Meet etc. There are also inter college football,cricekt tournaments takes place. Any student can participate in the festivals and tournaments on their basis if choice.

The college provides absolute transparency in the fee- breakdown. The college fee during the time of admission with the fee of first semester is 66,000.From 2nd semester the fee is around 42,450. The fee can be paid thourough online banking,demand draft and also in the management office thourough cards.

No,I haven't opted for any scholarship or educational loan. Yes the college offer scholarship opportunities to the meritorious students who achieve 8.5 YGPA and has a attendance percentage of 75% and up.

The campus life is a usual engineering campus life.The gender ratio is almost 1 to 1 and there is no difference made in between any religion. There is inter college football, cricket and basketball tournament gets placed. The college has its own football, cricket and basketball team.They are all gets trained under the supervision of the coaches.Also karate is taught there to the students willing to join. Debates,Robo wars takes place in the tech fest between students of any year.They are quite enjoyful and teaches many important lessons.

Yes, I had opted for hostel.The hostel rooms are quite enough for thouree to four people to adjust there. In each floor there are 2 big washourooms,the hostel has generator facility,So there will be no problem if the power supply gets cut down. The food of the hostel mess is quite good and delicious rather than any other hostel mess. The college campus has 3 hostels for boys and 2 hostels for girls.Every hostel is under the observation of 2 wardens,who are very helpful. The hostel rooms are shared within 3/4 boys or girls.But if wanted single room can also be provided.The hostel life is really great.

As the college comes under the affiliation of MAKAUT,there is an anti- ragging committee inside the college.So there is no fear of any kind of ragging. Also the seniors are very helpful and friendly,they are always eager to help you out in any kind of situation. Interactions with them not only enriches our mind but also they show us the correct path and help us for the placement scenarios.

I opted for wbjee exam( i.e, West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) in the year 2018. I ranked 30000 and got selected thourough the allocation process by wbjee counseling in the 2nd round for Computer Science and Engineering branch in Dr.B.C.Roy Engineering College, Durgapur. I always dreamt of studying CSE so when I got allocated I didn't wasted any time and took admission in the college.

The college faculty is very helpful and understanding.They would go any level to make you understand the things completely and leave no doubt in your mind.They are always ready to help us. Average age of them is near 42-45 years,and they are all vey much qualified.
