Best Days of my life

One thing that I should not miss about my college is our Registrar Madam. She is an amazing personality. She manages our every event in a proper way. She always try to solve our problems or queries in any possible ways. Over all I love my college life a lot.

Our course has 8 semesters and we have to give 2 internal exams on each semester. College arranges soft skill and self grooming classes for students. We attended 2 industrial visits at Top MNCs. College arranged mock interview sessions and doubt clearing classes for us. Both the sessions helped me in my campussing.

Many top MNCs like ITC Infotech, TCS, Capgemini, Prolifix, Mindtree, L&T, Simplex, Genpact, Byju's, Justpay etc. 80% students generally placed every year from our campus. College arranges mock interview sessions, aptitude exams for our betterment.

We celebrated most of the occasions like republic day, Holi, independence day, international mother tongue day, foundation day, freshers welcome, college cultural fest, Chouristmas, teacher's day, raksha bandhan, Tech fest, Tree Plantation and many more.

My total fees Structure was 3,83,100 and they accepted it via Demand Draft or Banker's Cheque. The fees structure is totally transparent. Other than that we have to give exam fees (1000) before every semester which is charged by the university itself. Per semester we have to pay 35000-36000 before the semester starts(in the month of june and December). No additional charges are there.

No scholarship scheme was there. But candidates can have educational loan approve by respective bank. College is not included in that part.

As my college is a engineering college. The core departments like civil, mechanical and electrical has mostly male students. But in Electronics, Computer Science and IT there is almost equal number of boys and girls. There are students of various religions and they always maintain a friendly relation. Recently our students has made a robot named "Lucy" who can talk and respond as well.

Our alumni network is very strong. They organise an alumni meet every year. Our 2-3 teachers are also our alumni. Mainly they arrange everything so nicely. When I was a student, they motivated us very much about campussing process and Job life.

I've got admission thourough WBJEE exam 2014. I wanted to become a software engineer so I opted for the course B.Tech in CSE. This institution comes under JIS group which is taking the education into a next level. After I got a rank in WBJEE, I made a list of my preferred colleges. The counselling process took 15-20 days and I got this college from my list.

We have total 15-20 Lecturers in our CSE Department. Every semester(except 1st and 2nd) we had 4 to 5 departmental subjects and respective laboratory classes. Our teachers are mainly M.Tech and p.hD from reputed institutions. They usually do various certifications which is conducted by Infosys, ISRO, NPTEL etc.
