Pranay Doshi's Review On Bhavan's College, Mumbai

College is now very clean and green as compared to 2 years back. But there is lot of improvements required in office functionality as there any work that is done takes a lot of time.

I gave CPT common profiency test last year in june 2014. I wanted to perceive CA. But i didnt got enough score to pass.

Course curriculum is quite extensive. Subjects include summarised topic of all commerce streams. Subjects are covered to every aspect of commerce i.e I.T,Accounting standard and so on.

Many company had came to our campus for recruitment. Some are Tcs,J.P.Morgan and so on. They mostly offer 15000-25000 monthly stipend to freshers which is quite good.

Job placement is quite good. Since job opportunities are limited to back office or accounting. Faculties helps the student to get ready for placement interview.

Bhaveans college celebrates two events (O2 & Ray film festival) annualy every year to celebrate the student freedom and togetherness. Events are organised with the help of facilulties and college committee.

Fee structure is least expensive. It has the lowest fees which an lower class people can afford. Fees are the main reason i have opted to get admission in this college.

There might be a scholarship but i havent heard of. Scholarships are quite good for any aspiring people who want to pursue higher studies but dont have finance.

Extra curriculum activities are good. College has a separate curriculum office to facilitate good sports and other curricular functioning. There is also a big ground that a college has that is used for every sports event.

Hostel facilities are awesome. Every dormitory is Clean convient for studies and has green environment.

Alumni is good as there is no improvement is required. For senior student some are quite established people. Some are still doing the same job which college had provided.

Exam structure is good now. Exam scheduling is quite good now. Examination committee now takes students consideration about time table scheduling.

Faculty are very helpful and friendly in every way possible. They are open about the subjects they teach and has good overall knowledge of their subject.
