Best Private Engineering college of Kolkata

Overall My college is one of the good college. Apart from campus issue I have no major bad remarks for the college. Teachers are very helpful and cooperative. Students are very disciplined and awardes every year for their good performance.

College is enrolled under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Course and curriculum includes all the basics and core subject of computer science along with Management courses and environmental sciences. I also enculacate the knowledge to be professional and college performs many external activities such as Marathon and fest so that we could participate and develop ourselves.

The placement of college is quite good or we can say it is satisfactory. College provides almost placement to all of its student belonging to Computer science, Information Technology background. Apart from these branches other branches also get placement but only in company which deals IT sector. There is no scope for placements for core branch. Regarding the internship, I am currently working in Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS) as an intern and they are making us ready to deal with professional world.

IEM-UEM marathon is one of the famous marathon in Kolkata organised by my colleges. IEM- MUN is another event which includes debates of international level of Science topic. IEM-UEM Innovasion is another such event which is a technical fest. Apart from these events there are another small events which includes Cultural fest, Freshers Party, Alumni Meet and Farewell party.

Fee Structure is feasible for middle class family. There is also scholarship awarded for economically weak section people. I have joined college in 2016 and my total fees is around 438000. Currently the fees might be around 70000 per semester, and there are 8 semester total.

I have not opted for any educational loan or any scholarship for myself. But there is scholarship offers provided to economically weaker section people. For loans college is providing a fees structure chart which has to be given to the respective bank before applying loans.

Frankly saying there is no campus life in college as college infrastructure is not so large to roam around. My college consist of just a building which might be even smaller than good school campus. Yes there are sports activities in the college, for such activities college rent grounds nearby and conduct the activities. There are labs in the college along with good numbers of computer and with all the technical support. Yes colleges conduct robotics, and debates as I have mentioned earlier of IEM-MUN and IEM-UEM Innovasion.

I have no such experience with alumni till now. I know few of my seniors personally who were in the college when I joined, and they are really help even when they have passed out the college and into their professional life. But our college have alumni link and it also conducts alumni meet every year to rewards the excellency of their professional life.

I got admission thourough W.B jee exam, where I have scored a rank of 3000 approx and got a seat in B-Tech information Technology. The admission process was such that we have to online apply for our choices for wb jee colleges and then there are thouree slots where we are getting one of our choices according to our rank. We can lock our choice in any slots to avoid further slots if we think that we got our best choice according to our rank. Then we have to report at college with all the documents.

Good, All the faculty are quite knowledgeable and are very helpful. They provide us with basics concept of the theory and implement it in the practicals. Every semester they make us ready to deliver a mini project on each subject to be more technically sound.
