Course Curriculum Overview
The course made me a disciplined personality. The curriculum however was not so well groomed to provide for a industry specific knowledge that would be helpful in securing on-campus placements. Yes, industrial visits were organised for the students every year.
Placement Experience
Student has to enroll with the Placement cell group for the Internship offer round of various companies. Each company had there own way of selection. All Big 4, DE Shaw, Birla group, MRF group, Godrej Group.
College Events
Annually a fest is being conducted in the month of January called Xavotsav. A whole week celebration is being planned with different events each day. Students of different colleges also join to participate in the events. In one of the events, a bollywood celebrity is being called upon.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is feasible. All types of payment modes accepted - UPI, NET BANKING, DEBIT CARD / CREDIT CARD, WALLET PAYMENT, BANK DEPOSIT. No additional fees to be paid to secure an admission apart from the nominal admission charges. Yes, they provide a complete breakup of fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Only few scholarship were being offered. Students have to enrol there names for the scholarship drive.
Campus Life
We were only boys, and there were no girls allowed for the course. Campus Life was very fun-loving and memorable. People from different cities of India were a part of this esteemed institution. They belonged to different religions. There were numerous extracurriculars held weekly.
Hostel Facilities
Not opted for Hostel. Opted for PG life, it was extremely fun and memorable. A complete new experience to life. We get to meet new persons, get a lot to learn from each other, we learn to adjust ourselves with situations.
Alumni/Alumna
The college has a great network of alumni. Famous personalities like Rabindra nath Tagore, Arcelor milttal,etc.
Admission
I opted this course because B.Com Honors is a supplement to Chartered Accountancy professional course which is my carrier goal. This institution is the 2nd best Institute in the country for this course. Preliminary screening, interview and then merit list.
Faculty
Tentative number : 1000 lectures Average age : 35. PHD holding professors. Not much of expertise was held by all of the teachers. Only quite a few lectures had relevant industry-experience. However the teachers are very supportive, and would be ready to support at all times
