Course Curriculum Overview
No, curriculum was different to the placement knowledge. However some of the key concepts like Hoffman coding played a vital role in cracking interview process in various companies. College and colleagues were constant support thourough out the interview process.

Fee Structure And Facilities
Expensive. In my time it was not as expensive as it is in present and college do provide fees breakdown receipt against fess of each semester. However the variation in fees according to the caste category of student is concern as equal education and facility should imply equal fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
Bank of India assisted me with education loan. The process was easy and bank manager and his team were very helpful thourough out the process.
Campus Life
Gender ratio 80/1000. Rest was usual with good mixture of western as well as Indian culture and a respect towards each student irrespective of their religious beliefs. Sports facilities are under development and will take few more years to be with matching standards of other IITs
Hostel Facilities
Yes. The hostel rooms were good with sufficient space for double sharing rooms and has ample hostels to accommodate all the students with in the campus itself. The average rentals of furniture is included in hostel fees
Alumni/Alumna
Best faculty network amongst all IIT. Seniors and colleagues are very helpful and sometimes more efficiently helpful then some of the professors.
Admission
Interest in Electronics Engineering. Reputation of college was deciding factor. The admission process was well documented with detail description of all the required documents to be produced at the time of admission. Proper orientation of freshers were done in order to enable them understand the culture of college
Faculty
There is shortage of faculty both in terms of quantity and quality of existing faculties. The knowledge of professors are mostly research oriented and hence sometimes this leads to lack in teaching skills. Some of The professors uses PowerPoint slides
