Remarks

It need to open hostel as early as possible. Overall the management is good and supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course structure is very well developed. It is developed on the basis of providing one with industry related knowledge and is divided into semester with very well combination of subjects in each semester. The course is such that you learn basics in the beginning and its get tough with each semester and the course is updated and relevant with the current goings in industry.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement is quite good. Companies like KPMG, EY, GENPACT, PWC, FIS and many other startup companies. The gneral steps are first a knowledge based online test then group discussion then again technical round for conceptual knowledge and then final interview. Percentage would be around 20-25. Yes there are many societies which help build personality like- placement cell.

College Events

4

Freshers for new students. Farewell for last year students. Societies fest in which different types of games are there. Cultural fest in which there is a star night and events like dance, music etc. Competition in which colleges around delhi take part.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very feasible. It is only 5-6 thousand of one year and it is now online. Yes they are very transparent about the structure. No additional fees is charged for securing any type of seat. Admission process is duly monitored so that no partiality rake place.

Fees and Financial Aid

As the fees is already very low so there was no such scholarship program but you were rewarded for your extra ordinary performance in exams.

Campus Life

3.5

Gender ratio was quite equal. In some courses like mine there were more girls than boys and in some more or less equal. Cultural societies were very Good they used to participate in various college competition around delhi and outside delhi and in most of the cases also were in TOP-3 and students in societies are very cooperative. There is student diversity as there were students from north east, Jammu, bengal, karnataka from all around India. There was striction with regard to any type of discrimination. Politics of DU is very famous and is enjoyed as a festival season every year.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There is no hostel in my college campus currently. But a budget for the same was alloted to build one. I used to live at pg as there were very good PGs in front of college campus. The PG rent varied from 6000-8000 for double sharing. Basic things provided in PG are- AC, bed, mattress, study table and chair, almirah lights and fans.RO purifier in each floor Electricity is charged rs.11 per unit

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were the best thing happened to me. They were very supportive around the time they were with me and even when they left. They used to guide me for exams, cultural activities and motivated me to participate in many competition for overall growth and exposure. They even guided me for my career because i was very confuse what to do after graduation.

Admission

I opted for DU because it is one of the best University in india for Under graduation. For the exposure by getting into the college and by meeting students around India plus a degree worth keeping me apart from rest of other universities. Its forms are opened after 12th results and one can apply it at the Universities website. Now you have to fill all the details asked im the form and the courses you want to apply. Then its cutoff is released 3-4week of June and in which college your score lies go and get yourself enrolled in that college.

Faculty

4

There were 4 lectures in a day. Faculty is very learned and the average would be 30-32 as there are young as well middle age and some old age faculty with deep knowledge of their subjects. They are very clear concepts wise and providing the best of knowledge to students. There are some PHD holders as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
