The teaching is the best in mechanical engineering course. But the placement needs to be improved.

Mechanical engineering is the course i did from Pune university. The course is of 4 years and it follows semester pattern. There are 8 semesters. Each semester has around 5 theory subject which will have written paper as well as practical exam. This course has made me realize the importance of time and time management skills. All the hard work we do in the research and using that research to build something is very interesting for me and i loved being able to do that in this course.

Placement of my college is improving with each year passing by. As i was there at that time almost 150+ students got placed with good package and most of them in MNC companies.

Techno fest is the biggest of all. It is national fest where all students can participate thouroughout the nation. Even those eho participate will be given a certificate of participation as well as those who win will be given some gifts. Also workshops are arranged. There is RAC seminar happening every year in our college which is international. Also many things are celebrated like different days, then field visits are arranged, Outings are arranged.

The fee structure is quite expensive which now a days is normal everywhere. My fee was around 1 lakh rs. But it depends on the caste. Also all the government scholarship and schemes are provided and they tell all the info about it. Like how to fill the forms, which you can apply, new scheme is started, who are eligible etc

I had applied for EBC. This is a scholarship given by government to the students whose family income is less and they need help. Also this scholarship has different eligibility criteria which changes year by year.

Campus is very awesome and the surrounding is the best. Gender ratio is almost 60% male. We have the only cricket ground of international ground dimensions in Pune. All the match of university level are conducted their. All the different types of competitions are organised and are given chances to participate in other colleges as well.

Yes as alumni myself we get contacted by the students of the college as well as the staff. And the alumni meet is also organised by the college.

It all started for me after i completed my diploma in mechanical engineering. After completion we have Cap round where we first buy the kit from arc where we are given our application no. and password. All the documents need to be verified in the ARC center. After few days cap round begins, where you have to fill in the list of colleges according to your preferences. Then after that you will be allocated a college according to your marks and college cutoff. After that you have to report to the college and do the admission procedure told to you by the staff present there.

Lecturer will conduct lectures as well as they will guide us thourough practicals and conduct workshops needed. Also field visit are conducte. Most of the staff in my college are M.E graduates. Only few have PhD. So they do have knowledge needed to teach and conduct the practicals.
