Amazing college

Nothing bad to say about my college the thing is that its an experience which very rare gets about of LD, extremely supportive faculty good management but yes don't expect spoon feeding from them cause they are not here to pamper you infact to make you world ready.

Well the course curriculum is available on GTU's website you can check over there exam structure is simple Mid-sems and then the University Exam handled by GTU, if you see course is a bit outdated but still works as faculty provides us the extra knowledge which we require(not all),and yes it helps you in making a better professional and you need a little bit of extra knwoldege for industry. But with the LD's tag and proper knowledge it is very helpful for industry. And yes our college do organises industrial visits.

Placement of LD is one of the best over here, we have companies like Accenture, L&T, Hitachi, Adani, Reliance, Capegemini, HSBC Technologies and many more you can go to our website and check placement, and yes our professors helps us in finding a suitable internship if much interested the general steps company follows are they would have a pre-placement talk where they would give brief information about their company, then there would be an test of aptitude, reasoning, verbal and coding(depending on branch)then shortlisted would be called for technical interview then the hour interview and then you get the final result, almost 50-70% of students gets placed from LD, and yes our college do help students to prepare for the campus placement by calling the experts and host lectures regularly before companies starts to arrive.

Our college is number of clubs which hosts many events in college let me tell you about the famous ones first, Lakshya a technical fest hosted by us every year in the month of Feb being the month of the love it surely makes participation fall in love with the fest, at this time in this event we have LGT(Lakshyas Got Talent) where students from our college and other college perform dance, sing or anything which is of pure talent, plus we host Thanghat(Garba) during the October and let me tell how grand it is we a crowd of15000+ people only in 2 days, plus we have Sahitya Sarita a cultural fest where many famous poets of our Gujarat come to our college.

Well you can say it's way more than affordable it's only 1500 per year for academics and for those who are going to stay in hostel the fee structure over there is also feasible it's 6000 per year and mess providing food at 40? and its government so obviously fee structure is transparent, and there is nothing like you can pay more and get admission, plus the payment is accepted via a bank either HDFC or SBI thourough cash, or online.

College doesn't have any scholarship opportunity but yes being a Government college we have all the schemes which are being operated by govt and all the documents gets verified within the campus, I have not applied for any but I know conditions that you family's annual income should be less than 5lac P. A and you have to apply thourough government website and verify documents in campus only average sum vary from person to person and in how many schemes you have applied for and got approved.

The gender ratio is good, plus we have diversity people come from foreign land as well and from across the India as well, and we have extracurricular activities like we have football/cricket ground, Table tennis court, badminton court, tennis court plus we have regular labs as well, there is no discrimination over here on the basis or race, religion, caste or sex or either on economic class basis.

I have not but I know cause lot of my friends are from hostel, rooms are big enough for 2 people's, and if you will have to go to PG it would be roughly 6k(it may very person to person) per month including food and any other thing.

Well it's an govt. college so the admission procedure at my time was thourough ACPC which included Boards marks and JEE marks, plus the reason for selecting it was I wanted to be an engineer from my childhood, and the college LD I guess everyone knows it in India or at least in Gujarat, the teaching over here is good and main thing placement many companies come over here including MNC's so great opportunity for you as a fresher.Admission process was simple depending upon boards marks and JEE's marks there would be a meri list and every college would have its cut off and we have to select the desired colleges thourough online portal and there were 3 rounds as well for shifting to desired college.

Our faculties are excellent they have been teaching for like 5-10+ years plus the HOD being the Doctorate in the specific subject and teaching experience of 20+ years and professors having expericne of 13+ years and assistant having staring from 5 years plus all of them have at least post graduation degree and many are PhD holders and they give useful information which would be essential for industry.
