the best thing about this place is the laboratories which are well equipped and the experience staff here helps a lot during the entire experiments in the practical classes Professors are very supportive whereas the administration is very rude and they take 10-20 days just to get a bonafide certificate done from them they are really pathetic

The Courses offered have alot of options and has a strict 75% attendance criteria the best part here is the labrotory for the Electrical and electronics branches with a supportive guides and teachers to help you understand the topics from the base level also they always take vivas before letting anyone do the practicals so that they know you have enough knowlegde to conduct the experiment and all the safety measures are taken to ensure that no student is harmed in the well equipped labs. They have a Mid Semester Exams that consist of 20 marks each for the Five subjects which have 4 credit points for each in the semester along with the End sem exams consisting of 70 marks and 10 marks are for the attendance and assignments. 5 subject = 4× 5 credits = 20 Exam pattern mid sems = 20 marks Attendance + Assignment = 10 marks End sem = 70 marks Total = 100 marks Along with this there are 4 labs whos exams are conducted before the end sem having 2 credit points each 4 × 2 credits = 8 total credit points = lab + sem exam = 28 credits

Placements here are good for branches like CS and IT where almost all of them get placed but for core branches there are limited core companies like tata, adityabirla group, maruti etc that come on a regular basis each year

Odd sem - tuition fee - 24000 hostel fee - 14000 Even sem tuition fee - 19000 hostel fee - 14000 its feasible for middle class where and lower middle class and bpl students get stipends and special reduction in tuition fee of 5 thousand each semester based on their performance in the OJEE and the board exams

many students opt for medhabruti which gives around 20k every semester for underprivileged students and students who are not from Odisha get scholarships from the northeast scholarship programme of around 50k a year

Souls - Music club is there which gives platform for all the budding artist. vibrance/ vibranz - dance club with highly professional talent AVC- audio visual club is known for their acting and drama talent baja and veer racer - they are the club which gets most no of awards in national level baja and go kart competitions robotics club - its a technical club known for their techie inventions and the most important one The Idea club - known for their student satellite internationally holding record in limca books of record are the only student developed satellite in asia with a 4km launching range this club is responsible for ISRO's newly opened incubation centre in this university with an investment of 50 lac rupees yoga club - for students interested in yoga and physical exercise this is the best club

water, electricity and wifi facilities are by far the best that i know also new hostels are created here in the last four years having 7 boys hostel and 5 girls hostels enough beds and space is there except for the old hostels where the space in each room is little less than you'd expect but i would rate it 7/10

This has a very good alumni network with their alumni all over the world holding very good positions in their respective fields are very supportive which help this university get good placement companies

This University has a very huge amount of respect for Its Electrical branch since it was made for operating the functions of Hirakud dam, The admission process is kind of simple OJEE score is considered for the admission.

All the faculty here holds a PhD and have a very good sense of knowledge with an interesting way of teaching but for students from outside sometimes language can become a barrier since some of them prefer teaching in Odia
