My Review

There is strong need to develop the level and dignity of the management. Like there is a need to increase the percentage in the placements.

The duration of the course is 3 year, which is divided in 6 semester i.e 2 semester per year. There is no curriculum which provide the industry knowledge, only the book knowledge is provided. The placement is not so good. Only few companies are taking part in placement drive. There is no industrial visit organised in 3 year for the students.

The placement and internship are quiet low as compared to other delhi university colleges. Even there is a placement cell available in the college which always tries their best to increase the percentage of placed students.

There are several events which are taking place thouroughout the year. The college have many societies and union like commerce society, art and culture society and students union etc. Every year fest events, placement drives are organised by these societies.

As college runs under the expenses of union government. The fee is very low for each program and courses. There is no additional or annual charges. They only charge tution fee, which is around 10-11k each semester. There is no transparency in the fee breakdown.

I never opt any scholarship or any education loan as the college fee is pocket friendly. My family easily manage my college fee.

My 3 years of college was quiet good. The gender is also fine. On an idea, expected gender ratio is around 65:35. The students are coming from all over india. I never seen any discrimination in my campus on the basis of gender, race, religion etc. But as it is a delhi university college so politics must be there. Every year students union elections are conducted which is looks like a festival of politics in the campus.

No, i never opt hostel in my college life. As i am a resident of delhi and the college is also located in delhi so there is no need for the hostel. Also there no hostel facility provided by our college.

As i used to be introvert kind of guy, so i have not so good interaction with my seniors. But seniors are really good. They were always there to support the juniors.

There is a merit base admission in the college. As i got 82 percent of top four in my intermediate so the best suitable college according to score is dyal singh college. Admission is on purely merit basis. At first, the first cutoff is out,than there are 6 cut-off comes out consecutively. So the last cut off for B.COM is 82 percent than i took admission in DSEC.

There are enough no. Of lecturers available in the college. Each semester have 4-5 subjects. And for each subject a different lecturer is appointed. Most of the lecturers are young of age lies between 28-40. Some of them holds certification in the industrial knowledge.
