The college is really good. It provides you with all the essential exposure and gives you opportunities to participate or experiment new things and learn more. What can be improved is hostel recreational activities and field visits and focus on imparting practical knowledge.

Exam structure is quiet decent and continuous evaluation based. We have two sessional exams and i end semester per semester. Every year has 2 semester. The question asked are generally application based and checks basic knowledge of students. Plus there is internal assessment based on teaching faculty. It may be purely based on assignment quizzes or daily attendance (75% criteria).

The placement of college is above average. Provide all the opportunities to capable and well learnt students. Also internship is provided to all the students on interview basis from the companies.

Cultural fest- Aarohi (October) Technical fest- Axis (February) Entrepreneurship fest- consortium (March) This are all student organized and college as well as sponsored events. Gives a good exposure to all the organizers and participants. Also helps in bonding and getting to know many new people on college. College also hosts fresher event cultural night etc. Institute gathering is the biggest event held in January.

Fees is just as any govt engineering college. It is semester based payment. Semester fee+ hostel It can be paid online or by offline mode whatever suitable. College provides scholarship to economically backward students. No additional fee is to be paid for admission security. Your hostel fee include all the facilities including mess services compulsorily.

The college provide EBC every year. This is for economically weak students. The form is issued from hostel section which is to be filled by students with required documents attached and the further procedure is taken care by staff there.

Campus life is same like anyother nit in country. The gender ratio is 1:8 for our batch. You get to meet people from all the parts of country as well as out of country. Living in such diverse environment gives you a lot to learn and teach others. Extra circular activities i have mentioned above. The college provide a very free and lively environment and has a very positive air around.

Hostel is the best part of college. Hostels are new rooms are of best possible services. You need to apply for hostel form at the time of admission. You are allotted a room number.(upon challan payment). The hostel has best of security guards. It has intime in case of any parental security matter.

The Alumni Board is very helpful they always try to uplift the college and find better and useful technology to be served to students. They also contribute in development of college and brings on student improvement seminars. Seniors are friendly and they get along very well. Help us with all required notes and guides us how to prepare well for future.

I got admission thourough jee mains examination. The admission procedure starts from 2 or 3 week of june and continue till july end. I choose this college because it is one of top 5 nits in our country and has good exposure to pursue graduation degree. Being a National Institute you get a tag of being nitian plus it is very close to my hometown hence my parents preferred it.

Faculty are consulted by means of Class Representatives. They are the one who maintain all the communication between the prof and students. Every subject has a given number of credits and accordingly the lectures are given up. Generally every subject has 40 lecture in a semester.
