The faculty and students of the college are very hard working. But the condition can be further improved.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's nice. We have four internal papers. Out of which two are written test. One is online mcq test and one is viva test. Best of four marks is taken. Theory and lab classes are held. Labs are held seriously. Assignments are given timely. Submission dates are very important.
Placement Experience
Placement is appreciable. In campus placements maximum package is around 8 lakhs per annum. But off campus placement gives hope to us. We have better off campus placements.
College Events
We have freshers party named Bihaan. We have saraswati puja named Sarade. We have cultural fest named Regalia. We have technical fest named Techtrix. We have sports fest named Kriraathon and GOT. All the fest are enjoyable. Regalia is held in April. Techtrix in February or March.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible. 4 years fees is around 3 lakhs 60-70 thousands. Payment can be done online, thourough DD or cheque. Fee breakdown is transparent. Few students who live in West Bengal and secure a under a particular good rank have to pay much less fees than rest students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Students who grab a certain rank and have money problem in their homes take admission thourough TWF quota. In that case those students have to pay less fees with respect to other students studying. I didn't opted for education loan.
Campus Life
We have a new building and an old building separate by a road. In campus we have mechanical lab, electrical lab, language lab, chemistry lab, physics lab, computer lab, electronics lab. We have a football ground. Cricket tournament are held outside college. There are appreciable amount of female students in the college.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior in our college are very helpful and supportive. They organise workshops for us. The organise competitive programming contests also for us. Seniors are easy to communicate. We can contact them thourough WhatsApp, Facebook, phone calls, text messages or any other platform they are available on.
Admission
I had to appear for WBJEE exam after my 12th boards. When the results came then I had to do online councilling. We have to fill the colleges and their branch we wish to be admitted in. We can fill a lot of choices. I had filled 30 choices. When result of first round councilling comes we have to pay some money online. I had to pay 5000. Then we have to visit a center in West Bengal to lock our seat by showing few documents. When final round result comes then we have to visit the college alloted and confirm admission by paying the fees.
Faculty
Faculty member are well educated. There is no communication problem. They are helpful. They cooperate the students properly. While teaching their main motive is to make the topics clear to the students. The number of lectures each day is not same. Some day we have half day, some day whole we have to be in college.
