Course Curriculum Overview

Good but needed to be updated. Course curriculum is old not companies oriented it is not even research based. Broad information is covered rather than deep information. So it should be in reference to companies demand. They should be taught what companies demand

Placement Experience

Campus placement is only oriented to computer science students only They don't care about core companies.

College Events

Cultural fest- zeitgeist. One of the biggest cultural fest all over india. Technical fest- Advitiya. One of the biggest technical fest in India. Sports fest- Aarohan one of thour biggest sports fest in India. Each fest is awesome. Huge participation is there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

1 lakh per semester is too expensive because poor family children can't afford this. Also rest we have yo pay for accommodation food and other charges. So government should take steps to lower the fees and reduce our burden to think over fees. And give some compensation.

No. I have not taken any loan or something. My financial condition is quite good also i earn some money thourough tuition classes

Campus Life

Quite good culture. Diversity is there. Couples roaming in campus. Lovely campus life. Lot of fun sports adventure is there. Camping picnics sports fitness all is there. Girls ratio is less. Girls are not very good looking. Also how csn you expect girls in engineering college

Admission

Thourough jee exams. I prepared jee mains exam thouroughout my schoolife and then give exam on 4th april i.e jee mains exams waited for result till 27 april then appeared for jee advance on 11 may. Thourough this i got chance to sit in worlds toughest exams i.e iit jee. I gaven exam in physics chemistry mathematics. 2 exam 3 hours each. Then i cleared the cut off and i got rank. Then counselling started i took part in it and choose iit ropar chemical engineering. And i got it.

Faculty

Via email and office hours meeting. We have scheduled meeting via email then we can go to their office and meet them. Also you can directly go yo their office is they are available. Or you can just meet them after the class. Or some professors are even available on call.

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

All about my college

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

Placement Experience:

From the 6 semester you will be eligible for the placement drive. Many companies visited LPU for recruitment and some of them are MNCs also The highest package is 1 crore from my batch and average is 7LPA. Around 90 to 95 % get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

The best out of best about iit ropar

I applied to iit gandhinagar electrical engineering and got rejected as my jee advanced rank was not as par as required to take the course.the admission process of our college is based on an examination called jee advanced and if u get a good rank and pass that examination u can enter our college.i also applied for iit hyd,iit jodhpur etc in which I have got an admission in another branch as I said earlier as I like the electrical engineering branch I joined iit ropar .or college might be worst in sports in comparison to other iits but they are always better than other iits in reasearch orientation side...Read More
