Remarks

Its a very good option for those looking for Food technology

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Food technology is a course that deals with subjects of food chemistry, nutrition, preservation etc basically. since it is a national institute syllabus is little tough compared to other university. But still it is easy for an average student to pass thourough.subjects are different in each semester and there are theory and practical classes,5 days Ina week. Which follow a regular btech exam pattern.

Placement Experience

5

Placement of the college is quite good As it offers almost 98% placement. All among the companies that comes for placement is reputed and avails a good income which include ITC, nestle, callburyetc.

College Events

4

The college supports all sorts of cultural and other leisure activities. Which include various kinds of fresher's programs, culture fest, onam celebration, pongal, holi, and such kind of state festivals. All among the students and faculty give an active participation in it and its awesome.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It may be feasible for a middle class family. I entered the college with a semester fee of 1,34,000 including tuition fees, mess fees, hostel and other facilities. Later the college got national importance and fees has been reduced by almost half And now its economic.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I haven't opted for any scholarship but there are scholarship available based on two. Things. First one is merit cum scholarship and second one is based on annual income of their family. Top ten students from each batch can avail for merit cum scholarship. For the second one income should be less than 5 lakhs per annum.

Campus Life

5

The campus life is super With a very good Eco friendly atmosphere. There is no special reservation for girls and boys,I meant based on gender.it depends upon the rank. In our batch its 35 girls and 114 boys. But it varies from batch to batch. And there is reservation based on Care religion etc in the admission process since its a govt institute. And there is no such discrimination BTW girls and boys.

Alumni/Alumna

They are so helpful and caring Special feature is that there is no ragging in any manner. Many freshers programs are done by the seniors to make a good interaction with coming juniors. They also help in study matters in case of any doubt or anything

Admission

I got admission after getting good marks in JEE Its a national institute And its a relevant course College is so good with a very good atmosphere. Gives importance to students Development and freedom. Nothing better. But a good hostel And mess Even if I had very low marks in plus two I got admission because I had good score in jee. minimum marks needed in plus two to get admission is 60%

Faculty

3

Faculty members are quite helpful and passionate with a high degree of qualifications. All among them have a docterate degree or some special degree on specialised fields. They don't even tend to miss any of their classes. Since it is a high profile job it takes time and they are of age group 40- 58.

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
