Pros: Anything that a student want is placement. If you are in CSE/ISE/ECE branches and really wanted a job before graduation, then this is your place. College will never bother any student for attendance. Library is very big and you will find all the books needed for exams. Cons: Fee structure is little high. Hostel facility can be improved more. Mobile phones are not allowed in the campus. You can keep them in your bags.

Now DSCE has its own university i.e. DSU. But they are also giving VTU couses. If you will select VTU, then course and exam structure will be old with old syllabus which they are following from last 20-30 years. In DSU they have updated the syllabus and taking exams timely without delay. Apart from courses, they will provide training in latest market demanded technology (sometime you need to pay) and they have a CIL program, that will make a student ready for interviews.

40+ companies for ECE attended DSCE. Some of them are Accenture, Infosys, Cognizant, Bosch, Continental, Broadridge, Ey, NTT data, etc. Average package will be 4 LPA. In ECE, minimum 90% placement. Yes, CIL program is there to make student ready for interviews.

DSI is famous for its cultural events. Vibrations is the biggest event in this college. All colleges from bangalore are taking part in this event. Generally, chief guest will be Kannad hero or heroin. Many Bollywood celebrity also visited college for their promotion i.e. hourithik roushan. This college is best for those student who just don't want to study 24*7 but also want exposure from outside world.

For CET - Very less (Approximately 2.5 lakhs for 4 years). For COMEDK - Expensive (Approximately 8 lakhs for 4 years). For Management - Very Expensive (Approximately 13-15 lakhs for 4 years) Mode of payment - Demand draft Fee includes university fee, tuition fee, examination fee, etc.

I took education loan from SBI. You need to get Bonafied certificate and fee structure from college. Need to go to any SBI or any bank branch. Submit Pan card, Adhar card, bank details, college details etc.

Campus is like a huge mall. Very very decent and cool infrastructure. Girls are more compared to boys. Indian, NRIs, Other countries students, you will find everyone here. Russian, Africans, North Indians, South Indians. North Indians are in more number in this college compared to any other college in bangalore.

No, I have not opted to hostel. DSI has two hostels, NRI hostel and Indian hostel. NRI hostel is expensive, cleaner having two members in one room with attached washouroom. NRI hostel fee is arround 1.5 laks per year. Indian hostel have 4 members in one room with common washouroom for multiple rooms. Indian hostel cost arround 90 thousands per year. I will suggest better take a PG outside, it will cost 5000-6000 per month.

Alumni meeting is something which is very common in this college. Every semester they are inviting alumnus to interact with current students and guide them regarding market requirements and outside situations. How to prepare, what to prepare.

I got admission thourough COMEDK exams(for all other state students). For karnataka students, it will be CET exams. Dayananda sagar college is one of the decent college in bangalore, there infrastructure is superb. Minimum 50+ companies are coming for placement for CSE/ISE/ECE branch. Placement for other branches are not so good, but some core companies are also coming for placement for CIVIL/MECH. For Admission: 1). You need to give entrance exam (COMEDK/CET). If you have more money, you can directly contact college for Management quota. 2). Depending upon your rank in entrance exam, you will get colleges and branches in counselling. Your rank should be under 1000 to get CSE. You need to submit a demand draft of 50000 rupees in counselling (this will be adjusted in tuition fee while admission in college). 3). Visit college and take admission.

Faculty in ECE are from 28 years to 60 years age range. Mixture of all age groups. All faculty have minimum qualifications of M.Tech. Experience faculty are good. In-experienced faculty are average. Some of them are arrogant but most of them are very helpful and polite. Approx 70 including lab incharges.
