No bad remarks for this college at last infrastucture and faculties are having best knowledge as compare to different colleges.

As CSE curriculum at UPES is much more industry oriented. Being a final year student at UPES I’m quite satisfied with the CSE curriculum. Unlike any another college in India we (CSE students) at UPES don’t have to scrub metal pieces in workshop. One of my friend in top NIT complains me of attending workshop lab which is of no use to a CS engineer. Rather we have to learn Programming and Data Structures in the first semester itself. Also we have access to various digital study material in online library. Coming to the placements every year new companies are landing to campus for recruitment may it be Microsoft, Wipro etc.

UPES is known for it’s flagship Oil and Gas Branches. So placements and opportunities are definitely good for “GOOD” students. In spite of current recession scenario in Oil and Gas market, companies are coming for campus placements, though they pick up very less no of students. So you have to be competent enough to get selected. If you are good in your domain subjects, money and placement will never be a problem.

We have Fests(Uurja and ignite),like every other engineering college but some events are a tad bit better. freshers party,although fun, wasn't up to the standards. The technical fest is good and events are enthusiastically organized. some people work very hard to secure good GPAs to land good jobs. most of them although dont really know why they are here and are still to figure out what they really want to do in their life.

In my opinion or point of view the cost of studying at UPES is A LOT. You end up paying close to 10 lakh rupees only for your degree and to this are added your personal expenditures. When you add living expenses, easily another 2 lacs per annum which makes it go anywhere between 16–18 lacs in 4 years time.

No i have not availed any scholarship or education loan, because my father is a good buisnessman. And Loan repayment algo gives tension to a person.

UPES is surronded by Natural Beauty all around and well developed infrastructures Dress code is also mandatory in UPES. Its a best for people who always want to have a professional look on their personality. But on the other hand for guys who doesn't like wearing suit and tie much can allow enjoy being in shirt and pant after few month of joining the college.

UPES believes a lifelong relationship exists between alumni and the university. UPES alumni association recognizes the importance of higher education to the development of society.Many seniors are good in terms of helping different juniors, they visit campus during different events or at annual function type party refers to Uurja every year.

I got an admission thourough an entrance in 2017 by clearing an entrance refer as UPESEAT exam and i also got shortlisted in the list, So there are 32 programs in UPES and each programs having different specialization. Thus the application process for the UPES admission 2017 has also been conducted in two admission cycles available Jan and July.

There are over 500 national and international faculty members at UPES,Faculties are too dedicated in this university plus they are qualified too which is a rare combination to be seen in indian scenario, Faculty are also good for aerospace engineering in Upes here you get good laboratories and mentors.Upes has won many international competitions in aerospace under the mentorship of your given( distinguished professor).
