A perfect Law School.

My college has been the best place I have ever been. It was my dream to be here and now I am living my dream. There are manny good remarks as stated above in every field i.e. study, co-curricular activities etc. there is only one bad remark i.e. there are not many options for extra curricular activities. we have Indoor Badminton, Indoor table tennis, basket ball ground, cricket ground and volleyball ground. but the college does not manage much management it is mainly handled by the students only. otherwise the chanakya national law university is a very good college standing in top 10 universities in India. our students have been winning various moot court competition from the beginning, and also participated in Youth parliament in Rajya sabha, We also bring trophies of Parliamentary debate, various sports fests. etc.

Being a B.A.LL.B (Hons.) students it helps me understart various aspects of society, its history and all the other things. I opted for Humanities during my intermediate as I love studying history and economics, so it makes me study more. Regarding the relevancy, One who is going for judiciary must take B.A. LL.B (Hons.) as history is also an essential part of Judiciary examinations, but keeping in mind that Law subjects for all the Law students are same. All the curriculum provide the same knowledge for on-campus placements. Many industries visited our college. Some of them was NTPC, Bihar Tourism and many banking sctors.

Placements in our college is very good. Every year many law firms, companies etc come and take atleast 20 students from a batch of 120. These numbers are low as most of the students opt for litigation and not corporate jobs. As I am a second year student who is determined to not take placement in college. I do not have much knowledge about it. But overall i know that campus placements is very good in our college. Internships are mandatory in our college, atleast 30 weeks of internship has to be done by every students otherwise they will not be allowed to sit in the campus placements.

Various events: 1. two moot court competition 2. sports fest every two years 3. legal aid fest 4. parliamentary debate (this time it will be our 12th) 5. corporate fest in every semester there are atleast 2 fests organised therefore in total 4 fests every session.

My college fees include, hostel, teaching, mess fees, library fees, electricity fees and all the other fees. the mode of payment is online payments offline ex. cheque DD etc. no cash option is there for our college as per my knowledge. No additional fees is taken by the college for anything. hostel fees is included in the same. Complete transparency as it is a state run university.

No, but there is no criteria of scholarship from our college. Education loan is available as per my knowledge. state government also gives options of education loans for every student. ex- student credit card. every single student admitted in CNLU is eligible for education loan. I dont have much knowledge about it.

Campus life is very good in our college, we can stay in campus till 12. there are almost equal number of biys and girls. there is no restrictions either for boy or a girl of any kind. there have been no case of gender or caste or any discrimination ever in our college none has been recorded or even talked about as no one holds any grudge against anyone based on caste colors gender or ethnicity or on any other basis. there is however a difference of view under political and economic issue but there is always a debate regarding the same, not a fight. we argue on our views with our word and none other and it has always been a healthy and fruitful debate. the quality of every society and everything is very good as it can be seen in the results of various tournaments held by all the colleges. all of them without any doubt reach atleast upto Quarter finals every time and ant 70% time win it.

Yes, they are quite spacious, you can opt for two occupants in one room. There is no shortage of hostel seats. There is not need of a PG as none has ever opted for a PG in my knowledge. Quality is as per all the other Law schools, cleaners clean the rooms, corridors washourooms, and toilets daily. we have water dispenser and water filter from Aquaguard. The quality of food is regularly inspected by wardens and sometimes even by our Registrar. The hostel is very clean and hygienic. Nepthalene balls, handwash, soaps, showers, geyser 1 washouroom for evey 10 students comprising of 3 wash basin, 4 urinals, 3 toilets and 3 showers is there.

There is a Facebook page for interaction with alumni and we can easily contact any alumni of our college as they are very much helpful in circumstances. The seniors are extremely helpful, as there is no case ragging so there is not an issue of ill feelings between the batches. The students live like a family in the hostel. There is always interaction between the seniors and juinors. They help in every thing. be it projectsz research, articles, internship etc.

I wanted to opt this B.A. LL.B ( Hons.) as i wanted to be a Lawyer and also try for Judiciary. My whole family is consists of lawyer, be it my mother, father, elder brother or even my grandfather. Being a lawyer and winning cases just by facts and evidences is my passion, therefore i opted for advocacy. Steps: 1. You have to clear CLAT examination before going for any National Law university. 2. After clearing CLAT your name will be notified in Merit list of Chanakya admissions, thereafter you can easily take admission in this college. CLAT exams are held in the month of April and result comes in the month of may. the admissions starts in June and regular classes will start from 16th of July.

I have approximately 35 lecturers in my course in which every single one them is highly qualified. The average age among them is 40-60 as they are not below Phd. degree. My seniormost faculty is 89 years old, another faculty who is 62 years old has also been to various conventions of United Nations etc. They are experts in every subject and their expertise is shown in every class be it class management, interaction, relevancy of questions in examination, solving doubts etc. Being a Law school, every faculty member has vast amount of knowledge in the subjects they are teaching us. none below the designation of PH.D is a faculty in our college and they hold various certificates, or atleast they have practised in the Courts.
