The concise overview of the CNLU

Likes

The faculty of all subjects are really good, and their teaching methods are based and cover practical and experimental aspect of subject.
The campus life good as the campus is open late night and also covered by green trees.
The students and its environment are diverse in nature as they come from the different parts of India

Dislikes

There is no general store within the campus as result have to go outside the campus.

Placement Experience:

The Placements are pretty good in both the private and Government sectors. For the private sector college, conduct placement interviews for interested students of the 4th year, in which many 2nd-tier law firms participate. Also, for the government services like the judiciary, colleges provide extra classes and mock interviews. The Bihar government recruits almost every year aoorox 300 students from CNLU in their law departmnets

Live review of Law college

Likes

Nearness to main city is very advantageous. Every essentials are available near by.
Access to transportation is also good. A train station is not very too far. I f one wants to access the airport that is also very well connected.
The class timings are less. It helps students to focus on other activities.

Dislikes

Placement scenario is not very good. Not all students who want to get placed get placed
The college has a very small area which results in having a small playground and very less area.
Faculty at most is good but sometimes oneight find them boring. The student crowd, too sometimes could be found to be slacky.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is not very good as compared to other colleges where there is a mix of studies and other activities in the main curriculum. Apart from that no lucrative credit courses or seminar papers are available.

Reviewing CNLU.

Likes

Infrastructure is nice. The classrooms are high-tech. The library has decent books.
The culture of CNLU is vibrant. There are book clubs and other committees.
Seniors are helpful and there is a lot of collaborative effort.

Dislikes

The college is comparatively new and hence the alumni base is not as strong.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decent. The subjects are similar to what is taught at any NLU in the country. The curriculum is designed every year, which provides for a lot of scope for improvement and feedback. The faculty does take feedback from the students on year-end, which is anonymous, and hence the students get the freedom to express themselves. The classes are very interactive as most of the teachers prefer it that way.

i liked about my camous that it has a wonderful infrastructure as there is every amentites available like library, ground for sports etc
i liked about my college that many students tends to opt for diiferent fields after graduation like UPSC, BPSC, judiciary ,litigation etc
i liked about my campus that teachers here are so knowledgeable and their way of teaching is very good. Also their way of delivery is very good such that students tends to grasp those understandings very easily.

Dislikes

I disliked about my campus that although faculties are living in the campus but there are no interactions of students with their teachers so i think my college is lacking in this.
I disliked about my campus that there are animals freely roaming like snakes dogs etc which tends to harm students living in the campus.
I disliked about my campus in the aspect of not providing as much internship as it is needed because there are much less internship opportunity comparing the number of students

Placement Experience:

Here the campus placement is good because companies like JSA, ICICI bank and many other Tier 2 companies come for placement in 4th yeat and 5th year also. Highest package of my college is usually given by ICICI bank of 18 lakhs to two selected students.But as Cnlu is in Bihar so many students tends to go for higher studies or litigation or goes for judiciary exam.So nearly 40% students tends to get placed because they have a keen intrest in going to corporate firms and other students go to other exams. My plan after getting out of college is to prepare for judiciary exam.

Know the Insides of Chanakya National Law University

Likes

Academics is good. The course offered give a comprehensive understanding of subjects
Infrastructure is good. We have smart classes in all classes
Campus life is great. You get to take part in a lot of competitions and programs.

Dislikes

Faculty is not so great. Except some, most don't know how to teach

Placement Experience:

There is placement cell in the college. ICICI bank provides the maximum placement to our college. This year that is 2024 batch secured the maximum placements in all sectors like bank, law firms etc. mostly students take placement from their hard work and connections. College in only able to provide few placements. From 4th year pre placement offers starts coming. Law firms like JSA, DSK Legal, Sai Krishna & Associates, Dentons Link Legal have recruited from our college. Highest package was 12laks and average is 08-10 lakhs.

A lot of scope for improvement

Likes

The campus ambience is calm and relaxing with trees all around to give it a soothing environment
The Library is quite resourceful and late night accessibility is very helpful for students.
The classroom infrastructure has been recently changed and new smart classrooms have been installed, which also allows for attending the classes online.

Dislikes

The mess food is not up to mark. The administration tries to bring in different mess tendors to improve the quality but it's still not good
The university is built in a small space and therefore lacks sports grounds. But a single space can be turned into a multi sports complex
The medical facility is also not very good.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester onwards. The university has a placement cell, but it doesn't function properly. Over the years, only a handful of companies come. The number of students getting placed through campus placement offers is also very less(4-5) in a batch. The recruiting companies are ICICI and Khaitan and co. offering an approximate package of 16-18 LPA.

Detailed Review of CNLU

Likes

College has a well managed infrastructure and library with collection of more than 22000 books.
College has a team of more than 30 professors who teaches different subjects of law and graduation.
College provide campus placements this year around 25 students this year .

Dislikes

The more disliked thing about the college is it's location .
Cnlu is overall has a great Infrastructure with reasonable fee.
The college has a comparatively small campus .

Placement Experience:

Yes , college offers placement to students in various sectors including law firms, Insurance companies,Banks and other industries. This year around 20 offers made through the campus offers . The average package offered was RS 1200000 And my plans to pursue corporate after my degree completion

Likes

The teaching is good. The professors are very educated

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is B.A.LL.B Hons. And the subjects are quite relevant to the course. There are subjects involved from B.A. subjects as well as law subjects. Some of these courses are integrated together. There are subjects like legal history and economics and law that help us understand the importance of law in these subjects.

CNLU: worth it or not

Likes

One of the best thing is infrastructure. Both girls and boys situated itself in the campus. Digital Classes equipped with moder facilities.
The faculties are mixture of experienced and young.
The campus is situated in the heart of patna which easily connect nearby railway station and airport.

Dislikes

The University doesn't have the sports culture. The students who are interested in any sports doesn't get the opportunity and facility to lift
The University doesn't provide placement as demanded by the students. Rarely, some students are selected for the campus placement.

Placement Experience:

There are some companies and law firm do visit our campus for the placement where the the calibre of students matter to be selected for the job. 5-10 percent of the whole batch is getting placed which is a very small number.

Likes

I liked that the Administration is very supportive and listen student's concern. Before implementing any rule the reviews of student is always taken. Placements are increasing and are given more focus on placements.
Campus is very beautiful though small but is very neatly decorated with plants and tress. We have all amenities available whether it would be canteen or unisex Nescafe. Food quality in the mess is also very good .
In our college social life is very good and we don't feel that we are residing in Patna. People here are open mimded and most importantly seniors are very supportive they ae with us whenever we needed. Placements are increasing very rapidly

Dislikes

The college is situated in Patna, it may hamper to someone who comes from metropolitan cities.
Sports environment is not there. There should be a overall experience rather than only academics.

Placement Experience:

CNLU is generally known for Judiciary. The majority of students are preparing for the Judiciary exam. Placement at this college is quite low compared to other colleges. This is because in placement very few students sit and appear for the placements. The majority of the students opt for higher studies like LLM or other PG courses or start preparing for Judiciary or Civil service exams. The main disadvantage of low placement is the geographical location of this college. It is situated in Patna where there is no company resides. All the major companies are in Delhi, Mumbai, or other big cities. Patna is underdeveloped which is why most of the big companies don't come to recruit the students. Students are eligible for placement from the eighth semester only. After completing his/her graduation they can join the company. Major companies visited for placement are banks and second-tier law firms. Approx 25% of students get placed during the year. I am planning to prepare for the judiciary.
