Management is good, strict about discipline and mainly it is purely anti-ragging college. The bad thing is Saturdays are made working at times which is mostly disliked by many students and even faculty members.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is industry oriented and many labs syllabus is designed by top companies and organizations like National and Texas instruments. I would say it's very relevant and globally acceptable as well because it's prepared by comparison with the top three national and international universities running BE mechatronics. Many industrial visits are organized to JSW vallabh, Wonder Automation, Hansa Metallics and many more.
Placement Experience
Top companies like PADMINI VNA, GODREJ, TECH MAHINDRA, AICRA, UBL, JARO EDUCATION, PEARCE SERVICES, VEDANTU, WIPRO, COGNIZANT visited for campus placements in our time. The average salary package offered was Rs 5 lakh LPA and the highest package offered was 12 LPA. Mainly APtitude test is held first which filters many out followed by Groud discussion round and finally technical interview round is held. Nearly 70% of students got placed from our batch.
College Events
Many student clubs are there in every department. Mechatronics department had robotics club which organized several events and competitions like ROBOWARS, ROBORACE, AMPHIBIAN BOT, ACROBATIC FLYERS, PICK AND PLACE BOT CHALLENGE. Many festivals and fests are held every year like AIU cultural fest, Punjab Youth fest, CU Fest, many films stars and celebrities keep visiting our campus for promoting their films. Even technical events like ABDUL KALAM Innovation day is also celebrated.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is rs 80,000 per semester and rs 90,000 per year for the hostel. Although fees are high many scholarship options are available like 12th merit based, JEE MAINS Rank based up to 100% even, army background in family, wards of teachers or old student, COVID-19 Warrior scholarship newly started reserving up to 10% of seats and giving up to 10% off on tuition fees throughout the degree. There is a clear and transparent system of fee breakdown.

Yes, many scholarship options are available like 12th merit based, JEE MAINS RANK BASED, these are scholarship on tuition fees of Rs 80,000 per sem.aprt from these single family child, COVID-19 warrior, wards of faculty teaching in the university, parents in army background, sports scholarship is also offered depending upon one's performance and medals or grade achieved in national level sports.
Campus Life
Campus life is amazing and awesome. ragging is totally banned. No discrimination can be seen in sports where one is judged on the basis of skills and not looks. The infrastructure of LABS, sports, is excellent, seminar halls and auditoriums are also very good. Good sports facilities for football, cricket, badminton, rugby, basketball, volleyball and other sports. Students from various culture, religion and states and countries are studying here under one roof without any discrimination.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very strong. Every year alumni meet are held to learn from the experiences of our seniors, gain knowledge about various job profiles one can opt for and how one can prepare oneself for the same. My college seniors are very good they informed me about the important questions asked in their various interviews which really helped me crack the interview of two companies.
Admission
Eligibility criteria for admission to BE mechatronics are 50% for GEN and 45% for SC/ST quota. I gave JEE mains exam as the entrance exam but it's not mandatory for admission in CU, it's for scholarship and one can get up to 100% scholarship. There are no cut-offs for the courses instead direct admission is allowed but recently after getting NAAC A+ accreditation, CUCET entrance test is made compulsory which further in one exam two benefits as it is entrance cum scholarship test.
Faculty
The faculty is very skilled and experienced. Mostly they are PhD holders and research scholars. Regular workshops, expert lectures are held for providing industry based knowledge and certification like by Texas Instruments. Total lectures held are 7 per day and teachers use modern teaching aids like PPT, video PPT and whiteboard marker for explaining the concepts.
