Remarks

College management is biased. They listen to just some of the teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

Course is not good. You can check your attendance on www.tcsc.org.in and on Thakur College Attendance App. It doesn't teach you practically and hence you will not get job. If you have your business then this course is good for just having your degree

Placement Experience

0.5

Placement is bad. All the jobs in the job fair were of sales which students don't want to do. Students want highly reputed job which college is failing to provide.

College Events

2

There are many events in the college like Taarangan, Mantra, seminars, etc. Our fees is utilized in these events only and not in academic activities. College is not good in academics it's only good in cultural activities. College should give more importance in academics

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees of the college is very high as compared to other colleges. Fees is 55000 rupees per year. I recommend to go for another college as this college is charging very high fees. Mumbai University recently gave award to Thakur College of science and commerce as best college of mumbai

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't opted for scholarships. In this college there is no facility of scholarship. They just loot the students

Campus Life

4

Campus life is good. Outside college there is Box8 where you can smoke and take weed. Even girls of this college smoke. All go to nightclubs, pubs, bars, afterparty etc. The atmosphere of this college is not good. Rich people come here and all are naughty.

Alumni/Alumna

No they are not helpful. All students do their own work and don't help others. They just do their own work.

Admission

I took this course because my brother took it. Just fill the admission form and if your name is in merit list you will get admission. College website is www.tcsc.org.in. if one don't get his/her name in merit list then you can take admission by giving donation. Amount will not be less than Rs. 1,00,000.

Faculty

1.5

Half the faculty is good half the faculty is bad. Aakash Deshmukh, Nimesh Jotaniya, Harshada Mhatre, Hiral Makwana are goof faculty. Nishikant Jha (HOD), Priyanka Tripathi, Sadiq Hasan are not good faculty. Nikshit sir is ok ok types. Some teacher don't know how to control the class and hence they can't teach properly

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
