Review of ABV-IIITM

I think the college management is good but there is lot of scope for improvement.

My course is Intended post graduation (I.T.) Master's in Business Administration. It's a 5 year course. Course curriculum is up-to-date. It is relevant and research driven. If you want any advancement in course curriculum, you can contact respective faculties and ask them to update the course.

Placements in college are very good. Many companies like Goldman Sachs, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Gojek, etc. visit our campus regularly. There are various rounds like coding round, personal interview, etc. depending upon company policies. Each year nearly 100% students are placed. There is placement cell which prepares students for interview.

There are various events celebrated in college. There are various clubs and they conduct various events regularly. Apart from them, there are various events like Aurora: Cultural fest, Infotsav: Technical Fest and Urja: Sports Fest. They are held every year at regular intervals thouroughout the year.

College fee structure is feasible for students. There is no college fees for SC and ST category students. While the college fees for General and OBC category students is 80000 in each semester. You can pay the fees only thourough online mode. College has separate portal for fees payment. College provides transparency in the fee breakdown.

I haven't opted for any scholarships as there are no schlorships for General Category students. Though there are various schlorships for SC and ST category. I have taken educational loan. Sum of my educational loan is 600000

Campus life is pretty cool. We have best sports facilities. Though gender ratio is quite less and is 1:8 for girls to boys. There are many cultural societies and various programs for betterment of students are held regularly by these clubs. These societies include Social club, drama club, cultural club and Technical club.

It is compulsory to live in hostels. You cannot opt for PG in our institute. Every student is provided with double room in first year while single room is given to them afterwards. There is LAN facility in college along with clean drinking water

Seniors in college are very good and helpful towards juniors. There is zero percent ragging and any kind of such activity is not tolerated. Alumini are working at various positions across the world but unfortunately alumni network is not as strong as it should be.

I gave JEE mains on 8th April in 2018. We got results in April itself. My All India Rank was 21921. I am from General Category. Admission process started in mid May and college started in 26 July 2018. Only JEE mains score was taken into consideration and not JEE Advance.

Faculties in college are very friendly. They live in same campus as we do in faculty quarters. You can contact them in class. Their phone numbers and emails are displayed in campus on boards. They have their respective office in various blocks. You can go visit them and tell them about your problem
