Water problem, college is situated on an hill area and in summer water scarcity is a major problem

Course curriculum and exam structure is not so relevent, because it's mainy focusing on theories rather than practical knowledge, so there is great gap, but have enough time and space for self learning, the syllabus of the course has everything but time duration to execute the things are too short, industry based knowledge is very poor hence placement is also so poor with core companies

Even though I'm a mechanical student, only IT companies marketing companies are comming here, 1 availed an internship in one of the leading industry in kerala, The KMML - Chavara in kollam district

National level technical cultural fest called RITU is main annual ceremony As a student, I'm a student volunteer for the program Apart from that so many inter college programmes called keli, kickoff, smash, freshers also held on the college, techical projects and programmes with the help of alumni, i participated in some workshops as well

This is a goverment college and fee structure is 8400 ? per annum, apart from that a fee for cultral and sport activities which is about 5000?, all the amount are manageable, means feasible, mode of payment acepted are cash and debit card, no online transaction still not available

I'm not availing any scholarship, here scholarship are only based on caste criteria, the college offering some scholarship and students form computer science department have great opportunities

Gender ratio is for boys to girls is 7:3, so many workshops and cultural programme s are here, student diversity is good, no tolerance regards to gender, race, religion, sexual orientation and economic status, but there are few issues with politics and political parties

I'm staying in private hostel near college because the college hostel seats are limited in number and is allocated by distance criteria, my private hostel rooms are of good standard have a nice climate and single room with a rent of?3000 per month

Yeah, ofcorse they contribute resources and sponsors of so many technical events of college, they conduct career development programmes and interview trainings

I got admission via kerala Entrance examination, and the allotments held on June 2017, I choose this institution because it the best and government institution near my home, i opt this course due to my passion towards the leading technology and automobles, also this college was one of the top ten institution in kerala

There is well known and government faculties, will to help and just right, approximate number of lecturers in the course from the first year to final year is 40, among that a few temporary staffs also, average age of our lecturers are above 45 and they have a good knowledge in their subject, the freshly entered lecturers hold some industry experience
