Remarks

Most importantly it is the clerk staff with which you have to deal a number of times. So they have to be cooperative. And in our college's case they were very helpful.Especially there was a young lady in the staff & she was very nice and me & my friends used to bet whose friend request she is gonna accept.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Frankly speaking curriculum has nothing to do with it, its not about colleges infrastructure, staff or teachers but it is the crowd, the students which make a college great. The students are the assets which take a college to higher peak.for example there used to be debates among students on real life topics that is rapes, social life, political debates and so on under the tree which had a seat around it to allow them to sit, eat and debate together.

Placement Experience

4.5

Yes there were a lot of internships in summer days that wont paid more but were very gemful in terms of experience. Especially when it comes to companies there were 70 % startups but also there were reputed companies like sharekhan, genpact, zoho books, trivago hotels, ola, uber.

College Events

4.5

Yeah thats my topic which I waited for there used to be "surlok" our annual fest which i think everyone waited for and it is of 3 days and it showcased hip hop dance, classical, salsa and in terms of music there were beat boxing inter college competitions. But the element which I enjoyed was the street play drama which everyone used to watch sitting on ground having that eye to eye contact with the dramatist which moved our heartbeat to a new level.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee ranged from 15-20 k and we paid it thourough online mode and the non payment of which debarred a student from voting in student elections. As in the third year i became sports president of students union and also was pursuing CA so suddenly one day i took my fee receipt and found many loopholes but one i will disclose here, it is that college charged ftom us a garden maintenance fee of rs.500 wchich when multiplied by 5000 students approx came to 25 lacs which was many times more in regard to the its size. We discussed it with the principal and we negotiated with her that in the fest we will be getting more for annual fest budget.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes it offered scholarship opportunities to students but getting it was a very expensive job to do. One has to produce father's income tax returns, rent proof of house etc to get it done. As mist of the students were academically good so giving scholarship on merit basis was a bad idea.

Campus Life

2.5

As delhi has low gender inequality so proportions were somewhat more or less equal. And about cultural shows delhi is very famous for its annual fests. Ours fest was named surlok.which i think everyone waited for and it is of 3 days and it showcased hip hop dance, classical, salsa and in terms of music there were beat boxing inter college competitions. But the element which I enjoyed was the street play drama which everyone used to watch sitting on ground having that eye to eye contact with the dramatist which moved our heartbeat to a new level.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No there was not any hostel. In case of hostels, write about hostels rooms, if its sharing, in case hostel seats are few, write about PG’s the average rentals which need to be paid in that case. ( Please mention in detail figures about facilities to meet the quality standards).

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors ranged from IAS aspirants to pandits to dashing body builders to super model girls especially south delhi girls.

Admission

As i was also pursuing CA course together with regular college I found it to be great opportunity to groom myself. After all my father used to say "Delhi jaega toh tez ho jaega". And actually it worked, in the third year i saw a great change in my personality and communication skills.

Faculty

4

The teachers were varied in terms of age from 22 to 60 + you can find here but there was no compromise in terms of qualifications that is from post graduation to PHD. The lectures used to be very short in terms of duration however there were also lectures where teachers used to come take attendance and take leave of the class. No there was not any relevant industry-experience or certifications. In terms of Quality of lectures there was also variance some used to go deep down digging of concepts and some used to just khana purti.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
