A good college

There is no negative remarks for my College but I do want to mention that our College is currently know for its cultural festivals much more than academics. The College should try to focus more on the academic aspects as well.

I can't agree with the exam curriculum helpful for the development of technical skills of the students but the curriculum does boost the pressure handling skills and also student learn to develop their orthodox and spontaneous decision making. Students therefore graduate with a lot of life handling skills than a average human being

Placement opportunities are good. Students are trained for placement, students are given multiple opportunities for getting placed. Internships are also provided by the institute for technical field. Jobs of marketing, technology, business are available

Extra curricular activities are great as said earlier. Arts field, technical field, sports field, students council, alumni team, social work team, magazine team etc are part of the institute. Labs are good and well equipped except for huge size equipment. Institute has Research and development part open for students

Fees structure is fixed by government and college combined. Every year 10% increment can be expected provided government policies don't change. Fees are moderate but facilities provided are very good. Each batch has different fee structure. Mine batch has a fees of approximately ?93,000 each year for a period of 4 years. This keeps on increasing with successive years. Currently the fee stricture is just above 1 lakh per year. In comparison to other engineering Colleges, our fees is feasible. Also the College has many scholarship opportunities as well.

There is a scholarship wherein the fee structure is 56k INR per year. You need to fill a form in the College office to avail that benefit. This was introduced recently. They will consider the academics of a student, the yearly income of parents before giving the scholarship.

There are many workshops each month by all the departments. Around 5 workshops are conducted each month. Some require us to pay them. Some are for free. Certificates are given. Top individuals from industries are invited. Gender ration : for 2 boys there is 1 girl in our batch. Tolerance : our College is one of the best examples on how equality is top criterion of any event be it cultural events or academic events. Our College is the most tolerant College I have ever been into. There is absolutely no politics whatsoever.

I am not in contact with previous alumni however I am in contact with the seniors. One of the senior was very help. When I got my admission : He gave me pdf of all the notes that I would require. He taught me the importance of scoring and staying away from bad influence.

A Entrance exam is held by Mumbai University for the selection of candidates in the colleges under Mumbai University and then according to the marks acquired in the exam the university gives the college seat to the candidate. After the exam the candidate should give its preference to the colleges he/she wants.

There are 8 hours of lectures per day with an hour break,5 days a week. The teachers and the professors have a great mind set and thus hold a great teaching experience.some of the faculty hold a PhD degree.the average age of a student is around 17-21
