Review of my college

I think the college does need to increase the mumber of faculties considering the amount of students they have. More strict measures to check attendence of the students need to be implemented in the college.

Being a Commerce student, it is very important that we bear the knowledge about the industry and thus the college foes try to impart industry knowledge. But the same is theoretical and no industry visits are organised as far as i have seen for B.Com students.

I have heard that good companies do come for placement with hood packages. But personally i don't know because am still in the second year of the course so i didn't get a chance to experience the same.

Since its a commerce college there are no technical festivals. But we do have various cultural competitions like singing, dancing, rangoli making etc so that talented students can showcase their skills. Students only manage these competitions which help them in improving management skills. We also celebrate various days like traditional day, bollywood day, hat day etc

The fee structure of the college is very affordable to all classes of people. The fees p.a for B.Com is around Rs. 3000 for Open Category. The only mode of payment acceptes here is cash. No additional fees had to be paid to take admission to my course. The college does provide transparency in fee breakdown.

No i did not avail the scholarship opportunity provided by the college because i was ineligible for the same. The eligibility criteria is that you should be from OBC, SC, ST, etc category. Also the invome of your parents should be low.

The gender ration in our college is quiet equal. There are almost same number of boys and girls. There aren't any parties or workshops or cultural societies in our college. No discrimination in relation to gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, politics and wconomic status is observed. All types of students are accepted in the college.

The alumnis have all the good things to say about the college. They do recommend the college to us. They have had a great learning experience with the college and are doing well in life today.

Since i wanted to pursue Chartered Accountancy doing B.Com was a feasible idea. Our College is the oldest and the most renowned college in the city and this is what made me choose this college. We had to first fill the online admission form and rgen wait for the merit list to check whether we will be getting admission or not.

4 lectures for 6 days of the week. The faculties in our college are highly qualified. They are either P.hd holders or have done M.Com. The average age of lecturers is 45. They are very expert and have relevant industry experience. They do try to understand the students and their problems related to study and give their solution.
