Course Curriculum Overview
Every 6 month you'll have exams and between that every month internal exam which gave you enough time to assess yourself for finals. You'll have access to college library consisting of all the books you could require. Also from 1st year itself you'll be given extra classes to groom for placement processes.
Placement Experience
Last year of whatsoever stream you're in holds Placements. I myself got into 5-6 companies. Institute makes sure that you're updated with knowledge that companies look for into to-be-employee.
College Events
Parivartan us yearly fest. Then every cultural festival is celebrated. Also every stream holds its own fest on quaterly basis. Attendance was given to you if you were busy in these extra curricular activities if approved by principal of your department
Fee Structure And Facilities
I was charged 46000 for first semester And then onwards 43000/semester. For every semester exam -730 exam fees is charged And if you have any supplimentary then 730/subject as exam fees But this fee structure varies from course that have opted for. You can opt for online banking or can deposit in college itself in the administration department. No extra fee was charged to me to get entrance in college.
Fees and Financial Aid
No i did not get any scholarships or bank loan was taken for my education. But yes college do provides scholarship to sc/st/obc/financially not strong students.
Campus Life
You'll find alot of competition and clubs in college and if required you can start your own club too. Gender ratio seemed to be approx 35:65 I never faced any sort of discrimination though in case of gender inequality infact made great friends from opposite gender for lifetime.
Hostel Facilities
No as i am from Chandigarh only, so i did not opt for hostels But they had 4 boys hostels and 2 girls hostel and 2 were in progress of construction at time i left. I heard from my classmates that hostel room were pretty good and security of girls hostel was great.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors were super great, had great bond with them, no such thing as ragging i even heard about in the college instead they were super supportive.
Admission
I had interest in computers and IT. Reasons i joined- I was given good reviews about college from my parent's colleague's. When i visited campus it was nice and lively and i felt i could grow into this environment. It was near to my house 20-25 mins drive. Fees was affordable to me When visited faculty offered their support to help me choose my career path.
Faculty
Faculty was always ready to help and get you thourough the subjects. Library was nice place to spend time alone with books and learn deeper about your subjects. Teachers often helped picking right books that could be helpful or gave options for books so you could choose whichsoever accordingly.
